The property was easy to walk to from the train station, a very accessible and convenient location. The staff was exceptionally helpful, including the restaurant staff who accommodated us for dinner in a private dining area. What an incredible hotel!

Great location and the attic rooms are spacious and comfortable. Front door could use a new coat of paint…and since that is the first thing you see when we arriving, and first impressions mean something, it would be nice if those kind of maintenance items were taken care of; same goes for the mildew found on the shower ceiling and tiles in our room. Overall we love this place and have stayed a few times and are happy to call the Helvetia home when we are in Zurich. But, the property does need some attention.

I loved this hotel! It was slightly out of the main tourist area so it was quieter but still accessible to transit and walkable to many places. There are many lovely touches such as the art and beautiful wallpaper. The breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend.

noisy, parties upstairs and downstairs, strange AC (portable with hose stuck in an open window !?!). 25 swiss franks for a continental breakfast that was basically coffee and a croissant.
