My wife feel in love with the hotel

Fantastic experience

Its been a few years since i last stayed here, and time has taken its toll on this hotel, its starting to look tired and dated! The cleanliness was disappointing, from the chairs in the room to the hall carpets I stayed on the club floor and had acess to the club lounge, which at best could only be described as ok The pool area is , small , for the size of the hotel , and the water could do with changing, The wifi needs upgrading as does the tv signal, a lot of my channels did not work, As i was leaving my room to check out the biggest cockroach came out from the back of the tv to say bye! But my worst complaint is , its the first time ever, that in a hotel That I felt invisible, mainly in the club lounge, not the best service at all !!!!!

It was walkable to eateries . Safe neighborhood . Close to markets .

This has been my go to hotel for the last many years. I like the rooms, the location and generally the staff are good. HOWEVER this time around the hotel charged me twice for the stay due to a simple error. The check in staff saw 2 bookings for the same person and said if I wanted 2 rooms. I said no, there's been an oversight because I booked through Wotif. He said he would fix this. The next day, AFTER they took my credit card details, they charged me $1000 for a room I never used. Saying I was a "no show". However the ONLY reason they could charge me again was because I provided my credit card at check in. After hours of complaints, calls, costs (eg calling from the next hotel charges a lot for the call) - they finally accepted they were in the wrong BUT it took them 2 months to refund my $1000. I will never stay there again and will never stay at any Pullman or Accor hotel ever again in my lifetime because of this appalling behavior.

Good location, great amenities and staff were very attentive. Will definitely stay here again though I may book a higher priced room next time.
