Great place to rest

Wonderful stay on our way to our school near the Tanzania border. The staff are attentive to their guests needs.

Ready to receive me on arrival. Patient and helpful staff. Good food. Clean pool. Clean room and facilities.

I last stayed here more than 4 years ago and it was okay. Since then they have improved beyond measure. Extensive expansion, a new restaurant and much more professional. It is at the highest end of budget, delivers fantastic value in a good but quiet location and the service was brilliant - especially from Shakira and Angel. If I am ever in the area I would definitely choose Banda Lodge for value, ambience and service. And the Swedish beef/potato/egg thing on the menu is delicious!

Great place to stay. Would be nice to have a fan for the nighttime but otherwise great spot.

Hopefully this was just an off day. We checked in late. The room is very, very nice, especially the two bedroom. The plug for the TV was not working. The internet was also not working. So we were essentially forced to go to bed. The power was out most of the morning. When we arrived to breakfast all of the food was finished. We waited for them to bring more pancakes and eggs but that was all they brought. None of the other food was replaced, and we only arrived at breakfast at 9 am. It was disappointing that everything we expected from our reservation (cable TV, wifi, breakfast) were missing.

A nice relaxing escape in a unique experience. The staff are attentive and friendly. The view from the restaurant is great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Banda Lodge. It was quiet and relaxing - just what we needed. Our cottage was very clean and had everything we required. The shower especially was excellent - the best we have ever had in Uganda. Every meal we had did not disappoint - the food was very good indeed. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and saw to our every need. We would highly recommend staying at Banda Lodge. We stayed 5 nights and were sorry to leave!

Stella is amazing! The beds are less than wonderful but the swimming pool is great.

This is the go-to place to stay in Masaka! Banda Lodge was a perfect respite after a week in what I call the 'hard bush' working at a rural clinic. I stayed in one of the rooms that isn't 'self-contained' but that is a tiny distinction& a good bargain. The sparkling clean toilets and showers were right next door. The staff was great, the food very good (though a bit limited as to be expected in a small hotel) and the accommodations very reasonably priced. The view and quieter location is exceptional. Wish I'd stayed longer and had had time to use the wonderful pool.

Clean room with 4 beds! Only thing was tv/wifi wasn’t working great. But enjoyed our stay, and swimming and the service was so great.

I really liked this property and would definitely stay again. It´s relatively basic and located away from anything else but that makes it fairly quiet and very peaceful. The staff are excellent and the food was exceptional which I didn´t expect. Good value, great service and surprisingly good food. Recommended.

Perfect for the first or last couple of nights in Uganda - about three hours' drive from Entebbe. Entebbe-Kampala Expressway is open, and has very little traffic. Quality rooms and good food at bargain prices.

I loved the look of it and the location. It's beautiful and the staff is wonderful! I didn't like that cars had to beep to have the gate opened.

Stylishly designed and very well equipped lodges with indoor relaxation space and kitchen. Excellent breakfast in outdoor communal area. Staff were very helpful.
