Bluewater Resort by Elliott Beach Rentals

The property itself is fine - security on site, multiple pools, friendly bartender and music playing at the pool bar, fast elevators, steps away from the beach, locked parking garage for guests only, pizza place attached, etc. The room - not so much. Our door lock was broken upon arrival. It REEKED of cigarette smoke. The room was dirty. There was a children's juice box sitting right on the couch when we walked in. There was someone else's hair in the kitchen sink. The check in office is located almost 15 minutes away so we called all the different numbers listed and no one picked up, so we had to drive all the way back to the office to have them address the problems. We tried asking for a different room due to the issues but immediately was told no without even given a chance to be heard. The man at the desk just walked away from us from in the middle of talking and told us he'd send a locksmith and a re-clean service. The lock was fixed, but no one ever came to re-clean. The bed is extremely uncomfortable, hard as a rock and super noisy. The couch had stains on it and looked very dirty/old/worn. Wouldn't stay again.

It was in a great location for the money but i was unaware at the time of booking this that it wasnt a typical hotel. You need to go to a different location for check in and check out and there was no communication that the garage was across the street from the hotel. The room was decent for the price but some upgrades, like the couch, would have made it better.

The swimming pools were all very clean and the areas around them were also very clean. Loungers were nice. The large eye on the stove didn't work and the tile floor was slippery. overall it was a nice stay and I would book this condo again.

We really enjoyed our stay! This property is well-taken care of, and our room was clean! Check in was easy!

Parking is not close

Room needs to be updated! There were holes in the wall

The room was dirty, the stove was rusty, the coffee pot had no pot, had plastic silverware, the furniture looked like it came from a thrift store. nothing matched. the table rocked they had pieces of paper under the legs so it wouldn't rock but they didn't help. the pull-out bed was like sleeping on rocks that were going to fall apart at any time. if you moved on it you were afraid you would fall out. the air conditioner leaked all over the balcony, so you had to sit in water when you were out on the balcony, then you had to keep a mop by the door so that when you came in you had to mop up after yourself so that you didn't slip and fall on the water. The outside facilities were beautiful. the pools and the hot tub and the bar area were very nice. I found out later that each condo is owned separately and rented out separately. that Elliot rentals is the slum lords of the facility. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!! at this facility of any of their other facilities. I should have known when our welcome gift was a coupon book and a roll of toilet paper. also, the parking garage is 2 blocks away. they say it is across the street, but it is not, it is across the street and behind the other hotel. NO shuttle service to get there for us old people who have trouble walking, but their security has a golf cart to take them around. No one at the front desk to talk to. I will never Use Elliot Rentals again. The Bluewater Resort was nice, but you have to watch who you rent from.

Wouldn't stay here if you paid me. I came to this resort for a party that same day, didn't have use of the room until 6pm. Mind you the party was at 6:30p.m. The stress

I did like the tiki bar , pools and Jacuzzis , beach access and inside pizza Grill bar- the front desk was very helpful and nice my particular room could use some updates cabinets and bedding. Although it was a very nice stay.

Would stay there again.

Nice apartment, but we had issue with air conditioner in the living room, wasn’t working properly and we had a problem with door locker, we couldn’t lock the door a few times. After I called Property management,they sent a guy who fixed all issues.Everything else we liked on this property,would stay there again.Review for Blue water resort,apt 1303

It was a filthy low rent room with a nasty mattress, tv was broken, lock didn’t work. The whole place needs an upgrade. There are too many hotels on Myrtle Beach to stay competitive with this kind of place.

There should be a lobby open with someone on site

We enjoyed the Libido bar outside and friendly staff at the bar. We never saw anyone that works at the hotel and even tried to go to the front office on Sat and both doors were locked and the guy just looked at us. It was a clean environment.

The room itself was filthy when we arrived, we were basically confined to the one bed the entire time, even though we paid for a suite. The other bed had brown streaks and a massive white blotch in the middle so we didn’t even touch it, the couches had boogers all over them and the table in the dining area also had brown stains and streaks all over it. I tried to call the office twice regarding the cleanliness but it just kept ringing so I gave up. The process of getting into your room is also inconvenient, we spent a lot of time fiddling with the key pad and lock. For the price you’d expect a lot nicer of a room, but it was severely lacking. Only one TV worked as well. We felt very unsafe as well during our stay, lots of people yelling outside our door and slamming things around nearby. The morning we left we also heard what we thought were gunshots, at 5am. They didn’t sound like fireworks. As I was cleaning that morning as well I saw a roach crawling over the top part of the door. The downstairs and common areas were very nice but that’s about it. Definitely will not be staying again, I’d rather spend more and not have to deal with all of that.
