Hilton Beachfront Resort and Spa Hilton Head Island

The hotel is located on the beach so we didn’t have to worry about driving to the beach. I do wish that the bar by the pool stayed open until the pool closed.

I would say the stay was nice. The hotel it self for a Hilton brand was just average. Although the property was clean it definitely needs much needed repairs and upgrades. I loved the close proximity to the beach and loved the pool area. I found the hotel staff weren't trained as well as others. The service at the bar and dining room was lacking. For the price of food I would expect a better dining experience. All and all I would stay again.

The customer service was very welcoming and the overall property was beautiful yet in need of updating.

The hotel its self is very old has a horrible smell and feels like all the elevators are on a verge of breaking our rooms toilet did not fluah right and looks like the fridge leaked ans there was a lot of mold

The hotel, pool, grounds and beach were really nice. The hotel rooms were a little dated. The beach was nice and quiet. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place to relax with family. Restaurant food is airport quality

Nice beach and plenty of pools! Make sure your bring your own furniture or beach towels to the beach or be prepared to pay to rent chairs and umbrella on the public beach adjacent to the resort. Be prepared to wait up to an hour for a taxi/Uber/Lyft ride back to the airport.

we booked an ocean view room and got a dumpy view at the parking lot.. then inside the room the air condition was broken, the fridge was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, the fan in the bathroom was broken also and room service never even showed up!!! no one came in to either clean or do the beds... so for $400 a night, the bare minimum is clean towels and clean bathrooms i assume. They did change our room to another room with a parking view with better air condition but still the frige was a dissaster anad again room service didnt bother come in to clean or mae the beds 2 nights in a row and even after requesting from the help desk. the pool is great, dining options and food options are fanstastic too, very alert ocean guards to sharks or rip currents which was amazing, live music by the pool was also beatiful. I wish the room was as good as everything else. we were all kind of sleep deprived with the roaring air condition and slamming doors and parking..

The hotel was nice enough; the staff was amazing, from the front desk to the bellmen to the valets. Pool was great, being right on the ocean was a definite plus!

Not as much as like or dislike as there is need for basic upgrades, paint or wall paper for the walls in rooms, doors replaced in rooms , door hinges, furniture upgrades. I think cosmetic changes to the hotel rooms would justify pricing. Now the location is perfect, secluded and private without the crowds. Staff was very friendly and courteous. One final caveat, regardless of your booking service the application of points should be applied to your Hilton Honors membership as a qualifying stay. I am a big fan of Hilton primarily Embassy Suites. Enjoy your stay at this location...

The staff was wonderful always happy and smiling. The front desk was very helpful. And our services Brie by the pool was just amazing

Was a great hotel with a great beach location

Staff were all-around great. Location is beautiful and outdoor amenities are very good. 2 issues potential customers may want to know: 1) There are a significant number of hidden and atypical fees for which you’ll be charged when you check out: - $15/day “self-parking fee”, a charge to park your vehicle at the hotel (where you’ve already paying to stay) - $0.90/day tax on the “self-parking fee” - $35/day “resort fee” despite that all resort amenities are advertised as being included - $2.10/day “resort fee tax” because you’re also taxed on this resort fee - $3.12 “destination fee” (unsure what this is) - $5 fee anytime room service to be delivered to your room 2) The 4-star hotel rating is not appropriate. - Room amenities are very basic, even for an older Holiday Inn, etc. - Rooms themselves really need to be updated, including issues surprisingly noticeable; chipped paint on doors (all 4 rooms my family stayed in), worn out plumbing fixtures, on/off water pressure when showering, slow WiFi, etc. But you’ll have an incredible view from an oceanfront room, and the staff are all kind/helpful and care that your stay is enjoyable.

Only complaints: 1) The Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa is most definitely not a 4-star property. It’s a decent 3-star hotel in a beautiful location and, if advertised accordingly, would not create false expectations. The service and indoor amenities are adequate and basic. The 3 rooms we rented were all comparable to a “worn” or “weathered” basic hotel requiring indoor cosmetic and utility updates… paint job to

Cold room. Would not heat. 63 degrees. We were able to move. No caffeine coffe this morning.
