Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, an IHG Hotel

Really cool spot !

Very eclectic hotel; bright and colorful. Staff were friendly throughout the stay. Happy hour in the evening was a nice surprise. They offered various wines, had a whiskey tasting and snacks for free in the lobby/lounge. Great location for night life, restaurants and historical attractions in the city. This was my second time staying at this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very nice. Very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved the social hour with complimentary wine. The breakfast in the hotel was absolutely delicious!!!! And the location is perfect.

Great check in. Shamura checked in with us later to confirm everything was working, too. Greg and Hanna were very welcoming at the reception. We love it here!

Love this quirky hotel! It was my 3rd time staying here. The room upgrade to a SPA room was quite un-necessary though, as I did not have time to indulge. I've mentioned this and requested a late check-out instead , but unfortunately it was not granted. The TV remote did not work so I could not use the TV for the entire stay. The valet took 30 minutes to return my car (quite excessive!). The staff at the restaurant was aloof at best, the hostess quite annoyed with my request to change tables.

The Kimpton Monaco is beautiful, but the room's furniture and fixtures were covered in dust and the showerhead sprayed everywhere. I could've paid half the nightly rate and had a less dusty room with a proper shower.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. Loved our room and had a full shower room with bathtub…simply gorgeous! Loved our stay!

It was unique and nice.

The staff was wonderful. All extremely kind, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, there were guests from and a wedding party staying at the hotel that night who returned to the hotel at around 11:45pm. They must have changed their clothes, went to the bar, and then returned at 2am when they closed.. THEN many broke into groups and spent time in several rooms for another hour or so before returning to their own rooms. So, the intermittent loud talking and opening and closing of doors so late at night when I unfortunately had an early morning ahead of me after a long day of traveling was difficult. It was a bummer, because other than that, everything was pretty perfect. I think you have the most comfortable pillows ever. I wish I had a bed full of them at home. My service dog thought so as well! And he never sleeps at the top of the bed! lol. We will absolutely be return guests for our next trip to Philadelphia! It wasn’t your fault that a group of guests were having a late night. Those things happen.

Very accommodating staff, as we though we might need a late checkout. Very clean. Great restaurant attached to hotel that serves the breakfast!

Great location, hotel is seeing its age. Nice selection of pillows. Nice staff.

We liked the set up and the lobby decor to take pictures even in this one hallway. But what we didn’t like was how the hotel staff came up to us and claimed that we were not dressed appropriately with little to no clothing and told us we can’t take any more pictures in the nice hallway. I’m sorry but we paid to be there so for their hotel staff to say that and treat us like that was unacceptable we weren’t in the way of traffic or being loud or taking pictures while people were walking by. As people were walking by we stopped and let them pass up the stairs in the hallway. Also more people actually complimented us on our outfits so we were confused of what the one staff employee was saying.
