Check in staff was very nice. Bar scene was fun and it was nice to get the free drink token! I didn’t get the notice until after I checked out about the small rooms with no work space… the common space on the 2nd floor worked ok but I might give it a second thought staying there for another work trip since I usually need a quiet space to work.

Great place to stay. make sure you read the room description because the rooms are half the size of a normal hotel room. They let you know this through email with the option of getting a refund. If you are planning to stay inside the room all day then this may not be for you. We only needed the room for sleeping so being small did not matter. The hotel itself is geared toward a younger crowd. Staff was awesome

First time staying at a Moxy. The staff were friendly. It was all I needed to relax, wind down and get a good night’s sleep after a day of meetings. Then there was a complementary beer or wine if you wanted it!

The only faucet, the safe, the door dead bolt, and the mini fridge were all out of order. Staff was excellent. Rooms are a little tight but overall cozy in cool weather.

Had a great stay! Only hiccup was that the outlets in my room would blow and they needed to reset them twice!

This was a really great hotel with great service and even though I highly recommend, I would not stay there again. The rooms are advertised as smaller, and they are not kidding. Rooms are dorm room size, no dresser or closet. Too small for 2 overweight 50 year olds. But the hotel itself was really cool, the customer service was excellent, The library on the second floor was very handy for doing remote work. I would highly recommend if you don't mind a very small room.

Seems like a real young people hotel has a club at the top and when I walked into the lobby, there were lots of young people playing foosball or other novelty games that they have set up. You check in at the bar it was very relaxed. You get a free drink token at check-in. The bad part was that when I got to my room, I turned the heat up and then got ready for bed only to realize that it was not working. Had to move all my stuff from 4th floor to new room already in my pajamas. That room I left I could see my vehicle from the window and it had a mini fridge. I was moved to another room on 11th floor with no mini fridge and a plywood ceiling. I have a picture. Also this room was much closer to the rooftop club so until 2 AM I had to listen to the music that I could not hear from the fourth floor. So it was ALMOST a good experience. The staff was very helpful and kind.

The room and atmosphere were good. The hotel charged an extra $75 for incidentals. We asked what the charges were for, and we were told by multiple staff that the incidental charge was only $50, and they didn't know what the extra $75 charge was for. Not sure why it was charged in the first place. I also selected the breakfast option (for an extra $40) at booking, but the hotel didn't have that registered when we arrived. Needless to say, but we'll be staying at a different hotel next time we visit DC

Started with the rude staff in the morning, waited in the lobby watching people coming in and going out for four hours, when i asked for my bags to call another hotel they said they did not see me sitting there for four hours. When they saw I was from vegas they stated that I should "know how it is." The bartenders at night were great though!

Had a great experience from checking in to check out The staff is very friendly and you have to experience the rooftop. It was cold when I was there, but I’m sure the summertime is probably very pretty.

The property was perfect for a weekend getaway. The breakfast food was delicious!! Our only issue was that upon check-in, the gentleman did not inform us of how to get to rooftop bar. Also, a free breakfast buffet was advertised, but they do not have one. He did not give us our free breakfast passes, the young lady in the morning did, but only because I asked about. We would have had to pay because the initial check-in was insufficient.

The property was very unique different from some of the other hotels I’ve visited. The staff was excellent everyone had a great attitude every time I saw any of them they were all smiles. What I didn’t like was the room size it was quite small and I paid for a corner room with a city view I didn’t quite get that it was on the corner but one window faced an apartment and the other was somewhat a city view. The room itself was nice very straight to the point, bed then bathroom. If you have kids I definitely wouldn’t recommend it but it’s definitely very nice for couples looking for a different experience. Lastly I paid for a breakfast buffet, there wasn’t one although I had to pay for breakfast the food was good I just didn’t like that I paid for something that wasn’t there at a different rate but all in all I probably would return if I’m by myself but if I’m with family I don’t think I’ll return just because of the space the property was great just the room was a bit small for me
