We got the standard room with kitchenette. We had a family of 7 and a large dog. Room needed upgrade but overall okay. My kids loved the loft and extra space. Beds were uncomfortable.

This property is great if you need a lot of space, more than one bathroom, a refrigerator, and a bed for everyone in your party to all stay together. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and the heat in the room and water pressure and temperature for the bathrooms were good. It is a nice rustic and country feel, and central location for your time in Pigeon Forge. It is appropriately rated as a 2 star, so it is a good option for that category. The ceiling fans need a little attention from maintenance because once everyone settles down to go to sleep, they squeak which is not good for sleeping.

Was a nice place to stay, right off parkway so it’s not to loud and in the perfect location, I think the rooms could use some updating but other then that no issues and fair pricing

This was our second stay there. It's very clean & we like that it doesn't look like your typical hotel however, please please please upgrade those squeaky bed frames. Get some wd 40 , something. Just sitting on the bed the frame sounded horrible.

We got into Timbers Lodge late on December 30. Check in was fine for my sister that left Dollywood because she was unwell. She left the key at the front desk for us, but the new attendant did not want to give us the key because there was note. After showing my ID twice, we were finally permitted. This took 30 minutes because while we were standing at the desk, two noise complaints came in that she had to prioritize. When she came back, the attendant was rattled because she was threatened by a lodger. She called the owner who lives on the property, but did not come out to help. Once we got to our room (jacuzzi loft) the pullout couch was in deplorable condition. Two adults in our party were designated to sleep on it, but the mattress was thin and did not lie flat. The bed frame was bent creating a hump where our backs would be. I returned to the desk to ask if I could swap out a mattress. She called the owner again . Owner told her no and to give us mattress covers. We took 4. This did nothing to help the situation and we made beds on the ground. The next morning we went to complain about how horrible this experience was and to ask for some type of compensation. The reply was no again and we would have to wait until Friday to speak with Julie. Again, totally unacceptable!! We also learned that the grab and go breakfast was over at 9am. We were in the lobby by 9:03am checking out. Honestly, we are not picky people and travel a lot, but this was one of the worst experiences.

10/10 would stay again. Stayed with my husband, our 3 kids, and my mom who stayed in the loft. The kids wanted to stay in a “cabin” and we wanted to stay downtown and keep it affordable, close to everything. Breakfast was grab n go and we had zero complaints; different varieties of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, blueberry muffins, milk, juice and coffee. Our room was clean and comfy. The pull out couch that the kids slept on was a little older and did slant on the ends, but the kids didn’t even notice so no complaints from them or us. Bathrooms were clean. Fridge was clean, so was coffee maker. The only issue we had was with other guests there with dogs. We ran into one in particular on the way to breakfast with a larger dog who clearly couldn’t control his dog that took an interest in us. As frustrating as those pet owners can be, that’s to be expected anywhere that pets are allowed. All in all, the Lodge is a wonderful place to stay for everyone in the family. Zero complaints about staff, our room, breakfast, parking, or anything else you see negative in reviews. Yes, the lodge is older and could use some updating but we knew ahead of time and would choose this clean, fun and older “cabin” style room over a fancy, new and boring hotel any day.

Very good transaction. Quick check-in and check-out. Within walking distance to most everything. Office staff friendly and helpful. Only negative is breakfast. There were only muffins and yogurt. But we had breakfast snacks with us. Will stay again.
