The access is very good.
The staff are friendly.
The afternoon tea is a bit boring, but the breakfast is delicious.
The room facilities are old, but they are clean and tidy.

Room is neat, decorated and colors are cute, swimming pool is small and pretty. Breakfast is not much food but it is okay. Only one minus point is that the lobby is too hot, I don't know whether to cut costs and turn off the air-conditioner, the furniture is no longer as new as in the picture.

Summary: Spend an extra $30 a day to stay at the Caravelle Hotel. With better international management, higher quality bedding, luxurious appointments and sound-proof windows, you'll sleep a lot better.
The Good Stuff: Large size room for the downtown District 1 area. Reasonable price for a newly refurbished hotel in a great area. Nice boutique look and feel with a good size shower, separate toilet room, enough counter room and it's clean. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The rooftop pool is sufficient.
The Bad Stuff: The hotel GM should be replaced with someone who has ran international hotels before. At 7a on Friday, the hotel started construction to replace an aging floor on the 10th level, which could be heard down through the ground floor. The next day there were fire alarm tests in the morning around 8a, and on Sunday they started more construction, although this time at 8a. Being that there was a festival with concerts going on until 3a nearby, getting woken up that early was really not necessary. A decent GM would have started the construction or tests in the afternoon when most people are out and about. Having sound-insulating windows would help to reduce the noise from the nearby walking street and bars. The bathtub looks nice, but is pretty useless as the rusty water filling it up looks pretty disgusting. Also, not a big deal, but the room safe didn't work and forget about the breakfast. Just eat somewhere else. There are many good choices nearby.

Fantastic stay- staff were so friendly and accommodating. Great location and rooms were large and clean. Breakfast buffet was also delicious and had so much variety everyday. The spa services were excellent- we had massages and nails done.

This hotel was wonderful! Absolutely beautiful hotel with kind, helpful staff and amazing breakfast buffet! We were sad the one day we had to miss breakfast during our stay! We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go, very walkable area.

A lovely hotel in a lovely city. The room configurations are a bit odd (shower on the balcony, bath tub right in the room) but this is quite charming. The whole hotel was charming, lovely, excellent location and service. However, we were awakened each morning by a rooster crowing incessantly nearby, from 4-5 am. It was kind of horrible. Not the hotel's fault but don't stay here unless you are a very sound sleeper or, perhaps, happy to sleep with earplugs. Since sleeping well is the main point of a hotel this leads to a low overall rating from me.

Beautiful hampton like hotel located within close proximity to all main attractions within the Ho Chi Minh city. We stayed 3 nights in the roomy Bonard Junior Suite that included a shower just off the balcony which was a bit quirky but cool and was shielded from the street. Rooms super clean. Staff extremely friendly and buffet breakfast spoilt for choice. Would highly recommend..

This hotel was fantastic! The staff were incredible and so kind! They were always there to help you with whatever you needed at that time. The hotel was also beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was also to die for. Everything you need is on the street the hotel is located on. From shopping, to dining to cafes, you name it, the street has it. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!
