I booked a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed but when I checked in they gave me 3 single beds, the bed sheets were not very clean, the space was a bit old.

I was very disappointed and upset after my stay at the Shanghai Hotel. This is one of the worst “3-star” hotels I have ever stayed at. The following serious negative points are the reasons why I will never return: 1. Extremely poor hygiene • Dirty room: lots of dust on the surface, especially the corners, cabinets and curtains. • Dirty carpets, many stains, musty smell and clearly not cleaned regularly. • The worst thing is that I saw cockroaches crawling in the room, an unacceptable image for any hotel, even a budget motel, let alone a 3-star hotel. 2. Unprofessional staff attitude • When I complained about the room condition, the staff showed an indifferent attitude, not willing to support. The response was cold, without any apology or specific solution. • When checking in/out, poor communication, not enthusiastic, sometimes even unpleasant attitude. I feel like I am bothering them which is the complete opposite of the service industry. 3. Poorly maintained, run-down facilities • Old bathrooms, intermittent hot water, leaky showers. • Room equipment (TV, telephone, tables and chairs) are old, loose and lacking investment. 4. Not up to “3-star” standards I don’t understand what standards are applied to label this hotel as 3-star, but in reality the service and quality are worse than budget motels. This not only misleads guests but also affects the overall reputation of the local accommodation industry. I share this experience with the hope that the hotel will seriously consider and comprehensively improve its hygiene, facilities and service attitude. If it continues to operate at its current quality, I believe that the hotel will continue to receive negative feedback and lose the trust of both domestic and international guests. I will never return, and certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dirty room, no cleaning

The room is not very clean. Area B is worse than area A. This is my first time booking so I don't know. But through traveloka I can only book area B.

The hotel is large and relatively well-equipped. The location is convenient. However, the facilities are old and not well maintained, so they are very old.

I asked to change to a better room, but Area B still charged the room fee. And there was an additional charge for Area A. Not being flexible for customers in Area B is too bad.

Unclear work attitude

The breakfast food is a bit bad. The room is clean. The TV should be changed to a smart TV. If the channel is turned on, it's blurry. It's better to get rid of the TV

The room opposite my room screamed from 12 midnight to 2:30 am. I couldn't contact the receptionist via my internal phone. Using a cell phone to call the hotel number is also not possible. I couldn't rest all night. In the morning, I complained to the receptionist even though they were sympathetic, but they also responded that the group was very large, so even if I could contact the receptionist that night, they wouldn't be able to resolve it! A bad experience!

Clean room, varied and delicious breakfast, will come back if staying in Vinh

I booked a VIP room but when I arrived, the room was an old hotel. Room staff are not serious, drinks are not used but at check out newspapers have opened nylon and guests have to charge. Reception staff are not attentive, do not know customer information set, causing mistakes at the payment and time. The service attitude of the staff is not professional, guests book early one day because of early check in 5 am and have paid full but no breakfast because only half a day, only later to bear. Toilets are old, unopened brushes that have been pulled out of nylon.
