Information About Ancol Station

Ancol Station (AC) is a small Class III train station in the West Pademangan area, North Jakarta. It is on the Tanjung Priuk KRL train route from Jakarta Kota Station to Tanjung Priuk Station. 

Operated under DAOP I Jakarta, Ancol Station, located at an altitude of +3 meters above sea level, currently only serves travel relations for the Commuter Line train. Its location is also strategic as it is close from Taman Impian Jaya Ancol and Seaworld, popular family tourist destinations. 

In June 2016, the government decided to reactivate Ancol Station. However, this station only serves the KRL for the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok round-trip route. As a small station, it naturally has fewer facilities than larger stations. There are only standard facilities such as ticket tap machines, ticket purchase counters, a prayer room, and a restroom. 

There are several transportation options if you want to travel to Ancol Station or explore the city from Ancol Station. There is the TransJakarta Bus route 14B (Non-BRT) heading to Tanjung Priok-Senen via JIS, Mikrotrans JAK88 route from Tanjung Priok Terminal to Ancol (via Budi Mulya-Gunung Sahari-Lodan Raya). 

There is also the Mikrolet M15 with a route from Tanjung Priok Terminal to Jakarta Kota Station via Lodan Raya-Cengkeh and M15A passing through Gunung Sahari-Mangga Dua Raya. As a small station, the facilities at Ancol Station are quite limited, with only prayer areas, parking, ticket tap machines, and a restroom available. 

Routes and Schedules for Trains at Ancol Station 

Ancol Station only serves Commuter Line trains (KRL Commuter Line) for the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok round-trip route. For KRL heading to Jakarta Kota Station, the route includes Ancol Station, Kampung Bandan Station, and stops at Jakarta Kota Station. 

Meanwhile, for KRL heading to Tanjung Priok Station, the train route is only Ancol Station and Tanjung Priok Station round-trip. The ticket price for this KRL route is Rp3,000 per person with a travel time of 7 minutes for the Ancol Station-Tanjung Priok Station route and 10 minutes for the Ancol Station-Jakarta Kota Station route. If the journey is made using KAI Commuter Line Tanjung Priok with the route from Jakarta Kota Station to Tanjung Priok Station, the station before Ancol Station in the direction of Jakarta Kota is Kampung Bandan Station, and after that is Tanjung Priok Station, which is the terminal station.

There are plans for KAI Commuter Line Tanjung Priok for the route from Jakarta Kota Station to Tanjung Priok Station via Jakarta International Stadium towards Tanjung Priok Station. Additionally, there are plans for KAI Commuter Line JIS for the route from Jakarta Kota Station to Tanjung Priok Station via Kemayoran Station.
