Palmerah Station is the biggest class station type C which is located in East Palmerah Street, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The name owned by this station doesn’t match with its location, because it’s not in a sub-district Palmerah, but rather in sub-district Tanah Abang.
Its strategic location is even just 3 km west of Tanah Abang, which means this station is always busy with passengers. However currently, Palmerah Station only serves trips using KRL Commuter Line.
There are two high-side platforms with two lanes, the first lane goes to Serpong to Rangkasbitung, and the second lane goes to Tanah Abang. The facilities at Palmerah Station are also very complete, including lifts, escalators, minimarkets, and JPOs which are integrated with Transjakarta bus stops.
This KRL Commuter Line is a service operated to connect before the station, it's Tanah Abang with Kebayoran. Access to another place from Palmerah Station is also very easy because there are many public transport options.
There are Transjakarta Bus which connects Palmerah Station to other destinations, including Tosari and Bundaran Senayan. If want more easy, you can also use other transportation like taxis or online motorbike transport.
The KRL from Palmerah Station will take passengers at least as far as Rangkasbitung with transit in several stations. Starting from Kebayoran, Pondok Ranji, Jurangmangu, Sudimara, Rawabuntu, Serpong, Cisauk, Cicayur, Parung Panjang, Cilejit, Deru, Tenjo, Tigaraksa, Cikoya, Maja, Citeras, to Rangkasbitung.
