Information About  Cakung Station 

Cakung Station (CUK) is a train station within DAOP I Jakarta in Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta. Situated at an altitude of +18 meters above sea level, this station falls under DAOP I Jakarta and serves only KRL Commuter Line journeys. 

After recent extensions, Cakung Station is on the easternmost side of DKI Jakarta, including areas such as Bintara, Bekasi, Bekasi Barat, and West Java. Additionally, it is one of the most crowded stations with a significant number of passengers, especially during weekdays in the mornings and evenings. 

On the eastern side of this station, just before Kranji Station, is Rawabebek Station, which is inactive due to low occupancy. Like other supporting KRL stations in DKI Jakarta, Cakung Station provides basic facilities such as toilets, parking areas, KRL ticket tap machines, and several food stalls. 

To reach Cakung Station or travel within the city from this station, visitors can use TransJakarta Non-BRT Bus route 11U, TransJakarta BRT route 11T, Mikrotrans Jakarta numbers 2E, 11C, JAK40, JAK85, JAK100, Angkutan Koperasi Wahana Kalpika (KWK) T25, and Koasi Kota Bekasi K23 and K31. 

Routes and Schedules for Trains at Cakung Station 

Cakung Station serves Commuter Line trains (KRL) for the Cikarang half racket route to Kampung Bandan Station, Angke Station (some schedules), and Kampung Bandan Station, as well as Jakarta Kota Station (for night and early morning schedules) to Cikarang, Bekasi, and Tambun stations. 

For the Kampung Bandan-Angke route, the journey passes through Manggarai Station, while for the Kampung Jakarta Kota route, the journey goes through Pasar Senen Station. 

In addition to KRL Commuter Line Cikarang half racket, Cakung Station also serves the full racket KRL Commuter Line route. For this type of train set, the journey starts only from Kampung Bandan Station to Cikarang, Bekasi, and Tambun for some schedules. 

The ticket price for the journey from Cakung Station to Cikarang Station is Rp3,000 per person, with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes.

If the journey is on KAI Commuter Line Lingkar Cikarang full racket for the Cikarang-Manggarai-Cikarang route via Pasar Senen, the stop before Cakung Station will be Klender Baru towards Cikarang. 

Meanwhile, for the journey using KAI Commuter Line Lingkar Cikarang for the Angke-Cikarang route via Tanah Abang, the train will stop at Klender Baru Station towards Angke before entering Cakung Station. 

Lastly, for the journey using KAI Commuter Line Lingkar Cikarang for the Kampung Bandan-Cikarang route via Tanah Abang, the train will stop at Klender Baru Station towards Kampung Bandan before entering Cakung Station.

As for the destination stations, after passing through Cakung Station for all journey routes using KAI Commuter Line Lingkar Cikarang, the train will proceed to Kranji Station towards Cikarang.

Unique Facts about Cakung Station 

In addition to the Commuter Line (KRL) train schedule for the route from Cakung Station to Cikarang Station, there are also some interesting facts about Cakung Station, such as:

• Cakung Station has Alstom Solid State Interlocking electric signaling type used from 1994 to 2017. After that, the signaling at this station was replaced with Kyosan K5B electric type, which continues to be used until now.
• Cakung Station underwent a significant renovation. Since 2018, operational activities have been carried out in the new station with a concept of futuristic minimalist design.
