Cibinong Station is a third-class railway station located in Pabuaran Village, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The station only serves Commuter Line KRLs with routes from Nambo to Jakarta Kota and vice versa.
Cibinong is one of the sub-districts in Bogor Regency, West Java. As the regency's capital, Cibinong sub-district is in a strategic location. Transportation that connects Cibinong with surrounding cities is the commuter line KRL and Miniarta bus.
Miniarta Bus is a public transportation metromini connecting Bogor with other cities such as Depok. The bus usually departs from Baranangsiang Terminal to Kampung Rambutan or Depok.

1. Originally used as freight transportation
Initially, Cibinong Station was not intended to serve up and down passengers. This station was built in the early 1990s. Cibinong Station is intended to serve freight trains that do not enter the DKI Jakarta area.
The railroad construction plan was from Parung Panjang to Lagoa River by passing through Citayam and Cikarang. This development stopped due to the financial crisis that occurred in 1997. The completed railway line only reached Nambo Station.
Cibinong Station began serving the KRL Commuter Line on April 1, 2015. Previously, the railway line passing through this station had been used by freight trains since December 4, 2013.
2. Lack of Public Transportation
If you get off at this station, you won't find any public transport facilities. You'll have to walk to the street of Bogor 500 meters away to reach the city transportation that operates. Another option is to use motorcycle taxis, which can usually be found around the station.
Around Jl. Raya Bogor, you can stop by Cibinong Market and Ramayana Cibinong. There is also Situ Cibinong, which is not too far from Jl. Raya Bogor. Around this area, some restaurants serve delicious culinary delights. Many people come here to enjoy the cool atmosphere around Situ Cibinong.
