Cilegon Station is a class II train station located in Jombang Wetan, Jombang District, Cilegon Regency, Banten. This station only serves one passenger transport, namely the Merak Commuter Line Train. This train connects the Merak-Rangkasbitung and Rangkasbitung-Merak routes. Cilegon Station is located in Operation Area I Jakarta.

1. Construction was Canceled
In the past, the Staatsspoorwegen (SS) company built a railway line from Batavia to Banten to meet passenger mobility needs. In the 1890s, the company began planning a railway line from Duri to Serang via Tangerang and Cikande.
While the construction process was underway, the plan was canceled. The route that has already been built only reaches Tangerang. This line is still used by trains on the Tangerang - Duri route. Construction of the line to Serang only continued on July 1 1900 and continued to Anyer Kidul Port.
