Information about Citayam Station

Citayam Station (CTA) or often also called Citayam Station first operated in 1873. This station is one of the oldest train stations in Depok and has been designated as a cultural heritage site.

Currently, Citayam Station has two train lines, namely a straight line to Manggarai and a straight line to Bogor. Then specifically on the route towards Manggarai there is a branch that leads to Nambo.

Location and How to Get to Citayam Station

Citayam Station is located right in the border area of Depok City and Bogor Regency. Many people are confused about whether the Citayam area is still part of the city of Depok or Bogor Regency. • KRL

From Jakarta City

Start the journey by taking the Bogor KRL to Jakarta Kota Station to Nambo Station or Bogor Station. This route takes passengers to arrive directly at Citayam Station without transit.

From Soekarno-Hatta Airport

Take the Soekarno-Hatta KRL to Manggarai Station then transit to the Bogor KRL to get off at Citayam Station.

From Tanjung Priok

Take the Tanjung Priok KRL to Jakarta Kota Station then please transit to Bogor KRL to get to Citayam Station.

From Bekasi and Cikarang

From Cikarang Station or Bogor Station, people can take the Cikarang Lingkar KRL to Manggarai Station. At Manggarai Station, transit to the Bogor KRL to get to Citayam Station.

From South Tangerang

Use the KRL Rangkasbitung to Tanah Abang Station, continue by taking the Cikarang Lingkar KRL to Manggarai Station, then transit again to Bogor KRL.

From Tangerang

Take the Tangerang KRL from Tangerang Station to Duri Station then transit to the Cikarang Lingkar KRL towards Manggarai Station. From Manggarai Station, please take the Bogor KRL to arrive at Citayam Station.

• Public transportation

There are two public transportation routes in Depok that you can choose to get to Citayam Station. Among them are number D27 on the Citayam-Sawangan route and D05 which serves trips from Depok to Bojong Gede.

• Taxis and Online Transportation

If you want to be simpler, using a taxi or online transportation could be an option. Because you can directly reach Citayam Station from the departure point without needing to transit.

If you arrive at Citayam Station and want to go to the city center or surrounding areas, use public transportation. The public transportation routes that pass through Citayam Station include D05, D07, D26, and F111.

Meanwhile, if you want to reach the cities of Tangerang, South Tangerang, Bogor and Jakarta, take the Bogor KRL, taxi or online transportation. This method may be more effective than using public transportation because it is faster.
