Gondangdia Station (GD) is in Jakarta, after Cikini Station. This class II railway station is at +17 meters above sea level. It solely serves KRL Commuter Line routes. Gondangdia Station is a historic Jakarta station. Built around 1871-1872. Construction is one line from Cikini Station. The station sits on the second story, over a shop. 

In Menteng District, DKI Jakarta, the station is on Jl. Srikaya. Strategic for Jakarta's several areas. Additionally, various intermodal services are available—online taxis, motorcycle taxis, Transjakarta buses, ojek, becak, bajaj, and others.

As one of Jakarta's busiest stations, the amenities are constantly expanding. It also revitalizes outmoded or damaged items. From nibbles to hefty dinners.  Otak-otak, fried appetizers, iced tea, dim lunch, fried rice, and more are available. Train riders and nearby workers pack this area. Near Gondangdia station is an office. 

2. Not Located in Gondangdia

Did you know that despite its name, this station is not actually located in Gondangdia Village? It is situated just north of Gondangdia. However, Gondangdia Station is still well-known among rail users.

The name "Gondangdia" has multiple possible origins. It could be derived from the name of giant conchs, a Gondang Tree.
