Information About Kemayoran Station 

Kemayoran Station (KMO) is part of Operational Area (DAOP) I Jakarta, located on Garuda Street, South Gunung Sahari, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This station, situated at an altitude of +4 meters above sea level, is a Class II station that serves only KRL Commuter Line train journeys.

Visitors heading to Kemayoran Station or other areas from this station can utilize various transportation options. TransJakarta Bus Metrotrans number 12B with the route Terminal Senen-Pluit, Mikrotrans JAK24 heading to Terminal Senen-Terminal Pulo Gadung, or Mikrolet M37 with the same destination.

Meanwhile, the facilities offered at Kemayoran Station differ greatly from other Class II or III stations serving KRL travel routes. Some of these include toilets, a prayer area, vehicle parking, a minimarket, ATM stalls, and automatic ticket tap machines.

Routes and Schedules for Trains at Kemayoran Station 

Starting from June 8, 2019, all local train journeys, including Walahar Ekspres, Cilamaya Ekspres, and Jatiluhur/Lokal CKP serving the Jakarta-Cikampek-Purwakarta round-trip route, no longer stop at Kemayoran Station but pass through directly. 

Automatically, at the same time, this station only serves KRL Commuter Line trains. Passengers can choose the Commuter Line Cikarang (half racket) with routes from Cikarang Station, Bekasi, and Tambun (for some schedules) to Kampung Bandan and Jakarta Kota Station (specifically at night and early morning) via Jatinegara-Pasar Senen Station.

Alternatively, visitors can also use Commuter Line Cikarang (full racket) with routes from Cikarang Station, Bekasi, and Tambun (for some schedules) to Kampung Bandan Station via Pasar Senen or Angke Station.

The earliest departure for KRL from Cikarang Station is at 04:13 AM with Angke Station as the final destination. Meanwhile, the last departure is at 12:10 AM with Bekasi Station as the final destination. The ticket price for this KRL route is Rp5,000 per person.

The travel time from Kemayoran Station to Cikarang Station is about 60 minutes. During the journey, the train will pass through Gang Sentiong Station, Kramat Station, Pondok Jati Station, Jatinegara Station, Klender Station, Buaran Station, Klender Baru Station, Cakung Station, Kranji Station, Bekasi Station, Bekasi Timur Station, Tambun Station, Cibitung Station, Metland Telagamurni Station, and end at Cikarang Station.

If the journey is made using KRL Commuter Line Lingkar Cikarang full racket, before Kemayoran Station is Pasar Senen Station with a one-way journey. Following that is Rajawali Station heading towards Cikarang Station.

Meanwhile, if the journey is made using KRL Commuter for the route from Cikarang Station to Manggarai Station and back through Pasar Senen Station, before Kemayoran Station is Gang Sentiong Station in the direction of Cikarang, and after that is Rajawali Station for a one-way journey.

• Kemayoran Station was officially opened in 1887 with the name Station Kemajoran. However, around 1898, Staatsspoorwegen took over the station and its tracks.
• The initial structure of Kemayoran Station was made of wood and had an overlap. However, due to a fire, the station building was replaced with a permanent structure and has undergone several renovations since then.
• Kemayoran Station is located not far from JIExpo, which is often used to host large events.
• Ticket reservations for KRL Commuter Line for the route from Kemayoran Station to Cikarang Station can be made simultaneously. To prevent undesirable situations, it is advisable for the elderly, pregnant women, and mothers traveling with toddlers to avoid using KRL during peak or busy hours, especially in the mornings and evenings on workdays.
