Nambo Station

Nambo Station (NMO) is located in Bantarjati, Klapanunggal, Bogor with an altitude of around 220 meters above sea level. Even though it is a small station, Nambo Station has various types of train departure and arrival services. This includes serving Commuter Line KRL, cement transport trains and short-circuit coal trains.

The station which is often referred to as Nambo Station is not located in Nambo, but in the east of the village. This station is the easternmost station in Bogor Regency, it is the terminus for the Cross Bogor Jakarta Kota–Nambo KRL Commuter Line.

Nambo Station was the first to operate since 1997 along with three other stations on the line. There are several plans that cannot be immediately realized due to the economic crisis, including the procurement of the ring route.

Then in 2002, PT Kereta Api Indonesia operated the Tanah Abang-Nambo KRD to fill the empty route. In fact, the existence of this route continued to experience several problems until in 2007 it stopped operating.

On December 4 2013, PT KAI launched a cement freight train from Nambo to Kalimas. The use of trains on this route was initially quite limited but was later extended to Ketapang. Until April 1 2015, this station served the KRL Commuter Line route Nambo-Depok/Angke.

The arrival and departure schedule is also quite adequate for daily activities from morning to late at night. To get to Nambo Station, passengers can use city transportation with route F-74 in the direction of Citeureup - Nambo.

Reopened in 2015

The existence of the station, which was built when the economic crisis was approaching, was not easy. It is not surprising that this station stopped operating because it was unable to survive the difficult economic conditions.

However, Nambo Station resumed operations on April 1 2015 to facilitate mobility for the surrounding community. The station that serves the KRL Commuter Line the Nambo to Depok/Angke route.

Becomes a Freight Train Crossing

Nambo Station has eight well-maintained train lines, each serving a specific purpose. Not only does it play a role in the mobility of residents, Nambo Station also delivers various other needs.

There are freight trains with special routes that operate without disrupting the daily KRL schedule. This freight train has an important role, operating in the morning and arriving in Surabaya in the evening.

Beautiful View

If you are usually faced with a view of Jabodetabek which is dense, the Nambo train route is different. The Nambo train route from Citayam to Cibinong is a complete contrast to the regular Jabodetabek KRL route.

You can see beautiful rural views away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city of Jakarta. There is a large river flowing under the tracks, vast rice fields, and beautiful mountain ranges along the way.

Magnificent Architecture

Even though it is called Nambo Station, this station is actually not located in Nambo but in Bandar Jati. This station has magnificent architecture like an old villa similar to Cibinong Station thus making passengers comfortable.
