Pondok Ranji Station has undergone significant changes from a past that was somewhat slum-like to an environment that is clean and orderly. Through various restructuring efforts, both in the station building and its surroundings, the station has successfully transformed its image into a cleaner and tidier place. Renovation of the building, rearrangement of commercial areas, parking area organization, and the rearrangement of station entrances (gates) are concrete steps that have been taken to create a more pleasant atmosphere for station users.
With its strategic position, Pondok Ranji Station is not just a transit point but also a primary access point for several important places nearby. Plaza Bintaro Jaya Mall, STMKG Campus, PKN STAN, and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah are accessible from this station.

By becoming a 29-hectare multifunctional superblock, Pondok Ranji TOD integrates the station with various essential facilities such as housing, shopping centers, city parks, hospitals, and educational centers, creating a complete and integrated activity center.
