Rapih Dhoho Train
Rapih Dhoho Train is a local economic train of Regional Operation VIII Surabaya which is operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) with the Blitar-Surabaya City route via Kertosono and vice versa. At Kertosono Station, the train circuit must make a reverse direction, heading south (Blitar) or east (Surabaya).
On its way, the train stops at Surabaya City Station, Surabaya Gubeng, Wonokromo, Sepanjang, Krian, Tarik, Mojokerto, Curahmalang, Sumobito, Peterongan, Jombang, Sembung, Kertosono, Papar, Minggiran, Susuhan, Kediri, Ngadiluwih, Kras, Tulungagung, Sumbergempol, Ngunut, Rejotangan, and Blitar, with a total distance of around 180 kilometers, which takes about 5-6 hours.
Starting April 1, 2015, the rate of Rapih Dhoho AC Economy train will start from Rp 10,000 depending on the distance passenger choose. For example, for a Dhoho Surabaya - Mojokerto train ticket costs Rp 10,000 and Surabaya-Kertosono costs Rp 12,000. Meanwhile, passengers who want to take Dhoho Penataran from Kediri to Malang will be charged Rp. 15,000.

The Origin of the Name
The name Dhoho is taken from the royal name in Kediri, which is Dhaha or Daha. Daha City was founded before the Kingdom of Kediri was founded, which later became the capital in the era of Kediri Kingdom. The location of Kediri Kingdom is on the banks of the Brantas River, an area between Kediri and Blitar.
Daha is an abbreviation of Dahanapura, which means the city of fire. This name could be found in the Pamwatan inscription issued by Airlangga in 1042. Studying its history, in 1513, Daha became the capital of Majapahit, led by Bhatara Wijaya.
Change its name for the reverse route
The unique thing about this train is when it arrived at Blitar Station, the Rapih Dhoho train changed its name to Penataran on the Blitar - Surabaya City route via Malang. The name "Penataran" is taken from the name of the relic temple of King Kertajaya (Srengga) from the Kediri Kingdom, which is located in the Blitar Regency.

Rapih Dhoho train has 6 cars with an arrangement behind the locomotive for eating places and electric trains or KMP or MP. Behind KMP is train one to train five. Rapih Dhoho train settings will be reversed when replacing the "head" at the Kertosono station.
