Pekalongan Station is a large C class train station located in Bendan Kergon, Pekalongan Barat, Pekalongan. The station which is located right on the edge of Jalan Pantura is located at a height of +4 meters and is included in the Operational Area IV of Semarang.

Semarang Tawang Station or sometimes also called Tawang Station is a class A large station in Tanjung Mas, North Semarang, Semarang. The station which is located at an altitude of +2 meters is the largest station under the management of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Semarang Operation Area IV as well as the largest station in the city of Semarang and north of Central Java. The name "Tawang" is taken from the name of the village near this station, namely Tawangsari.
This station is a very busy station because almost all train passengers crossing the northern line stop here. Another feature that the station has is playing an instrumental song titled Gambang Semarang, which is played in the form of a jazz ensemble, to mark the upcoming train. This is an iconic building in the city of Semarang. Formerly, this building was the office of the Nederlands-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij, which was built in 1904 and completed in 1907.
