At the beginning of mid-August 2014, the two-train series were redirected to the reversed route. Since October 3rd 2016, the Menoreh Train 1 which had existed since 2014 got officially abolished due to low occupancy and thus the train series were used to serve for the Express Ambarawa Train’s trip between Semarang Poncol Station and Surabaya Pasar Turi Station.
