Semarang - Bandung Train

Semarang Tawang Station
Tawang Station is Semarang’s main railway station. This station was established in 1868 making it one of the country’s oldest railway stations. Semarang Tawang Station is one of the busiest stations because almost all north trains stop by here. Being one of the oldest stations, the look of this station is certainly very classic, but remains under good maintenance.
Tawang Station is owned by PT. KAI (Persero) for Operational Area 4 Semarang. Today, Tawang Station has already been enhanced with modern facilities such as online ticketing system and self-service check-in. This station is located at Taman Tawang street No. 1 Tanjung Mas, North Semarang, Semarang city, Central Java 50211. Its location is fairly strategic because it is only 5 kilometers away from the city center or 10-minute walk from the Old Town (Kota Lama).
Bandung Station
Having been more popular with the nickname "Hall Station", Bandung Station is indeed the main railway station in the “flower” city. This large-scale railway station stands in the Kebon Jeruk - Andir area, Pasirkaliki, and Kebon Jeruk borders. There are two spots of the entrance available at the station, i.e. North Gate at Kebon Kawung street No. 43 and South Gate at East Station road No. 1. The access from and to this station is made easier by the presence of an angkot (public transportation) terminal in front of it.
The Hall Station is currently managed by PT. KAI (Persero) of Operational Area 2 of Bandung. This large-scale railway station is listed as the first in Indonesia in applying self-service check-in system and airport-style boarding pass. The 133-year-old station remains to maintain its classic Art Deco look.
