The room was a good size and clean if a bit dated; the beds were very comfy, and we certainly appreciated the fan overnight. The bar and restaurant staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of food, but the absolute winner for my 9-year-old was the automatic pancake maker and giant Nutella Dispenser. We would definitely stay here again.

Would def stay again. Note that there is no AC in this hotel. They do provide a fan but it was quite warm even with. Kudos for doing their best given the heat. Stayed here for one night prior to cruising — can walk to cruise ship from hotel no problem. Lots of things to in the area. Very close to Southampton central station as well.

I would not stay here. The hotel does not have air conditioning and they advertised a pool but i did not find one. They first said no pool thèn they said under maintenance. The temperature in London over 90F and no AC expedia did not show no ÀC.

Easy walkable location from Southampton Central (5min). There’s a McDonalds across the parking lot that we had dinner and breakfast at. It was easy to book a cab for the cruise ship terminal on the self-service tablet in the lobby and the cab arrived within a few minutes. The location is outside the old part of the town so it’s not very scenic but was good for what we needed. There were three of us in the room and the pull out bed was bit squeaky with some springs sticking out. There is no AC and just a table fan so it was quite warm at night. Overall we would stay here again. The room isn’t fancy but serviceable and clean and we had no serious issues beyond being a bit warm at night.

Good experience

We booked this hotel because it had a pool and spa are which were out of order the day we arrived.

First room given wasn’t ready, voucher given for one drink when two occupants staying. We had an executive room. Poor overall condition glad we didn’t get a standard. Wood chip wall paper 1980’s separate toilet to bathroom. Wedding on, constant vibrating/droning from above. Breakfast not the best, decor dated and threadbare Never again.

Stayed here for one night before embarking on a cruise ship. Cathy the receptionist was extremely helpful when my husband discovered he had forgotten to print some documents he needed for parking at cruise terminal. We were upgraded as it was our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and as a real treat was greeted with a lovely dessert treat saying Happy Anniversary and drinks voucher. Whole experience was 10/10 and a big thank you to Cathy and staff again. You made us a very happy couple .

Needs updating stuck in the 90s! Bathtub very high to get in and out of for showing. Sofa bed for 3rd person really uncomfortable, springs in ribs!

Bed good but not the best, generally room was clean and roomy. Staff were great and very friendly. TGI & McDonalds next to hotel for food.

No plug sockets were working in my room. So I had to pack all my belongings and move to another room and unpack again. And there was a fly in both rooms.

It wasn’t an issue for us because it was not too hot, no AC in this hotel, portable fans were supplied.

Very positive welcome at reception. Service very good, room basic clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good.
