Fabulous hotel in a great location

Very nice 4-night stay. Marriott hotel is located just outside the walls of Toledo’s old-town, but actually that was a plus because from we were able to appreciate a panoramic view of the entire city. Bus 71 will get you into Toledo Casco Viejo in 5 minutes for just €1.30. The staff at this hotel, especially Diego, at the reception desk, and Teresa, at the breakfast restaurant, were outstanding with their hospitality and service.

The hotel balconies provided an excellent view of Toledo. The rooms were comfortable with Spanish accents. The hotel lacked technical sophistication with spotty wi-fi and a lack of outlets at the desks to get power to the computers. In fact, we tried to connect our computer to the outlet under the desk and the entire outlet came out of the wall. Please note, that there are no restaurants near the hotel that have reliable hours. Besides all that, we had an enjoyable time and appreciate the helpfulness of the staff. Also, the breakfast was excellent.

Outside of town so we weren’t able to walk to the town center. There is a bus stop right out in front though. We drove our car down the street and parked next to the foot bridge which led us into town. They have a lovely breakfast!!

Excellent hotel with a great staff and great rooms. Very convenient with a 15 walk to town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Feel and look of a boutique hotel but not quite hitting the mark in many areas. Evening food was really delicious but options were very limited with no suitable options for vegans and only one salad and one sandwich suitable for vegetarians. No options suitable for young children. Breakfast was nice continental but limited savoury options other than meat, egg and cheese and no suitable dairy free options. The room was nice but no hand soaps etc and the food was very dusty. We also had a beautiful terrace but this was not well maintained and the floor very dirty. Would stay again if visiting the city as location and views make up for it but would make other arrangements if you follow vegetarian/vegan diets or have allergies

Very quaint property with Authentic Spanish Decor… Lovely views of the historic Toledo, town and river from the balcony… Front desk personnel was extremely inviting and helpful… Easy access, and transportation… Would definitely recommend and stay again…:)

Very clean, quiet, historic, convenient. Free on site parking. We picked up the red City Sightseeing bus in front of the hotel to take into historic Toledo which was very convenient and easy. A tour of the city with hop on and hop off and easy access from the hotel.

For an old property, there was a lot of character and was perfect for visiting Toledo. Amazing view of the Alcazar of Toledo and quick access to the old city. The front desk made a great recommendation for tapas and call a cab for us (about 7 euros). Parking was easy to access. The room was beautiful and had a very hot shower. If it hadn’t been raining, we’d have spent more time on the balcony. My wife and I will be happy to select this property if we were to return to Toledo.

Overall great! Only con is that the room didn’t had AC. But problem solved by opening the windows.

It was a wonderful property. Very clean, beautiful setting, convenient to town, and helpful staff. The views of Toledo from the property at night were stunning. The front desk attendee provided helpful suggestions for dinner and we were thrilled with her guidance. We had a quick stay but came away very impressed. Would recommend to others and eagerly return if in the area.

The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. We had rented a car from Madrid so the parking at the hotel was convenient. Staff helped us with recommendations and getting us a taxi to go into the city instead of the using the car as parking inside the old town is difficult.

Good location for overnight stay and access to city. Tired hotel. Bar not open. Check in staff disinterested. Average breakfast but poor guy running around trying to clean tables, fix broken coffee machine and keep food topped up could have done with some help .
