The bed was super-comfortable, the windows blocked all the street noise from Friedrichstrasse (no small feat!), the S-Bahn was just steps away and the breakfast was great!

The hotel is ideally located in the city center, walking distance from most of the monuments and historic points. Rooms are clean and spacious albeit a little dated. My main complaint is that I stayed 3 nights and the room wasn't cleaned once (I worked from the room in the morning but was out of the room each day by 2pm until at least 8pm).

For this price point the room lacked all the little extras and refinements we normally expect, slippers, bathrobes, sewing kit etc. The lication was great being very cent, iron and the staff, particularly the concierge very helpful. Room service only did the bare minimum and did not replenish coffee etc. Also no complimentary water. The penny- pinching spoilt what otherwise would have been a very positive experience.

Only thing I disliked, was the tub/shower. It is somewhat dangerous for most people.

We loved being on the river. Restaurants were great and enjoyed tapas at the hotel.

Superb location close to a main station, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Our room on the 7th floor had great views overlooking the river. The Level experience was superb and the staff in the lounge were fabulous. Other staff members we came across elsewhere in the hotel were also friendly making our stay in Berlin a great experience overall.

The hotel is really nice and in a nice location, the shower is amazing (though pretty slippery, so use the handles!), the beds are confy and the breakfast plentiful and varied (shout out to the amazing rice pudding!). The down side is that the rooms have no USB charging points and only one plug socket which is by the desk, none by the bedside. In 2025 this isn't great.

This hotel is in the middle of downtown Berlin. Parking is in garages only. The hotel garage was full and so we're several other parking garages due to a local event. The hotel staff was nice but they misinformed us of the breakfast. It was on the first floor as the gentleman I donated but it was in the first floor restaurant which is on another section of the first floor that we were not aware of. Breakfast was self serve but you still have to pay. It is not included in the room cost. No AC so we are glad we didn't come during the summer. No carpet in the rooms. It is a bamboo type floor covering. It was a nice stay but we wouldn't book it again simply because of the location. And be sure to bring European wall adapters.

I absolutely loved my stay at Meliá Berlin. If you are prioritizing Museum Island and major attractions like the Brandenburg Gate this hotel is in a fantastic location. The train station nearby also makes it incredibly easy to get around the city or take a nice day trip. The hotel itself is stylish and has a feeling of luxury. When I return to Berlin, I would happily book this hotel again!

It was great, lovely place to stay and nice and central, though the room was a little dated… carpets felt like they were decently ready for a change and a few usb sockets would have made things a little easier to

The location was very convenient and central to sights and public transport. The staff was courteous, and the bed was pretty comfortable. The hotel has some quirks that in isolation are not a big deal but in combination would make me think twice about staying here again. - Air conditioning in the room was not cool - There is only one socket by the bed to charge your phone and it was connected to the lights inside the room so if we wanted to charge our phone by the bed while sleeping, we could not turn off the lights because our phone would not charge. - The hair dryer was connected to the wall underneath the sink and unreachable. It may not be an issue for most people but if you're tall, it can be annoying to try to blow dry our hair because the hair dryer could not be raised above our heads. - The tub was very slippery when wet and is also pretty narrow. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were attached to the wall but hard to access if you are not skinny. - For some reason, mobile cellular signal was very poor in the hotel building. Not a big deal but not ideal if expecting a business call that isn't using data.
