I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The pool side bartender was very friendly and suggested good snacks and drinks. The property is very quaint. It's around the block from a ton of restaurants and this has to do. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel mesón del marqués is our favorite hotel in valladolid. Dinning is an experience not to be missed. Excellent location, well trained, helpful, friendly staff. Daniel served us at breakfast and shared nearby sites to visit while improving what little mayan language we use. We were informed by the parking staff of a flat tire we incurred while driving there and they arranged for a quick and efficient repair. We can't say enough about how helpful they were. The hotel is a work of art. May not be as modern as some may like but is a classical Yucatán beauty.

This hotel sits right on the main plaza of Valladolid and has such historic charm. There’s a beautiful open air courtyard where breakfast is served (and the hotel restaurant). The pool area is perfect for kids and adults alike (you can order food and beverages at the pool). Parking is easy and secure - staff are lovely all around. Highly recommend getting breakfast included with the room - we found the hotel food and dining experience to be better than most restaurants located immediately around the plaza.

Excellent location for exploring Yucatán and Valladolid. Breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

The staff was very helpful especially David. I was struggling getting our luggage from the bus station was ND he proactivly cam to help me. The elevator was down for maintenance and he ended up carrying our luggage up four flights of stairs to our room.

This was charming stay. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well stocked with necessities. The breakfasts were delicious and service excellent. Dinners were exquisite….the menu full of various options aimed to please. These folks sure know how to run a hotel.

The room we had was average. The bathroom was tiny. However, the hotel’s location is excellent. The restaurant was superb for dinner and breakfast. Beautiful hotel grounds.

Room 1504 the room need attention, have a fake closet, simple box, this room used to have a balcony and was transform for closed you can see the outside light inside the closet, look very bad horrible

The hotel is very centrally located...we could walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel grounds are lovely and the restaurant was delicious. The room was clean, and spacious, but it had nothing in it but the bed, a small desk and 2 nightstands. There was no table or chairs. Had we ordered room service, we would had to eat on the bed. Also, the lighting in the room was quite dim. Perhaps most irritating was the room key card. It only worked some of the time. We'd touch the key pad, the light would flash green, but the door wouldn't open. We'd have to go down to the reception desk repeatedly to have the card reset.

Location close to town center. Room very dated and quite small. Bathroom very small - no exhaust. Furniture felt rickety ! No proper duvet cover - just a sheet under the blanket. Wardrobe was in front of a window and blocked most of the light coming into the room! Air conditioner worked well. Staff friendly. Good Mexican restaurant attached the the hotel. Just about ok for one night. Would not stay again.

Breakfast and dinner at the downstairs restaurant were excellent. Only downside to this place is the noise at night. For the second night we moved to a location away from the rooftop restaurant which is very loud. It was a hassle but worth it for better sleep.

Friendly welcome and room ready very early which was really helpful. Beautiful building and restaurant. Room with two beds was very nice, although wish there was a fridge. Shutters to keep sun out but fiddly so kept them shut. No hot water the 3 days we were there. Breakfast very nice and served 7-11.

Lovely hotel with fabulous service and extremely friendly staff! We are looking so very forward to our next visit!
