On a positive note first we were happy with the room, house keeping, bar area and the bar staff. On a negative note, we weren’t impressed with the food or the waiting staff. The food hardly warm and the quality of the ingredients was a lot to be desired on certain items. The crockery and glass ware not up to a clean standard. Waiting staff were busy but we were disappointed not to be offered a drink with our meal even though we tried to attract their attention. This also happened at breakfast time so we did not have a hot drink. Everyone else seemed to be offered. To be woken at 4am on two occasions by people returning to their rooms, shouting and singing and banging around etc not acceptable, this lasted for between 45 and 60 minutes. All in all a disappointing experience. We were happy enough with the location etc but with the negatives we would not choose to return as we left disappointed.

I’d rate this more as a 3-star than a 4-star hotel. Check in: The man on reception when we arrived was really nice and welcoming, no issues there. Don’t know his name but he was bald (sorry). Check out: Completely different story. There were three people on reception – a middle-aged brunette man, an older man sitting down, and an older woman – and they were honestly so rude. They tried to charge us an extra £1000, saying we hadn’t paid, even though we had the receipt right in front of them. Instead of even checking properly, the brunette guy and woman just kept repeating, “we wouldn’t have the bill if you’d already paid.” We had to message Expedia (who we booked through), and when Expedia called the hotel, the older guy answered and actually said, “I don’t know why the hell they’re calling you.” In the end, it turned out we were right and we had paid, but there were no apologies at all. They also tried to charge us for soft drinks during meals, even though we were all-inclusive. Again, once we pointed it out, they took it off, but still no apology. Other cons: Bed was really uncomfortable, food very repetitive, gym wasn’t great, and the pool was tiny. Pros: Room was clean, nice view, short 10 min walk to the beach. Most of the staff throughout our stay were actually really lovely – it was just the reception team on check-out that left a bad taste. Overall, I wouldn’t call this a 4-star experience and wouldn’t return.

Clean , organized hotel and near to bus station and beach

Quiet rooms, great breakfast buffet but our air condition wasn’t working. This is innacceptable in a place where you have 33 degrees every day.

Clean hotel, friendly bar and reception staff. Pool was lovely (and quiet, during my stay!) Food was a little bit hit-and-miss with the all-inclusive, but there was generally a wide selection available.

Grupotel Orient in Mallorca advertises itself as a four-star establishment, but in reality, it is more akin to a good three-star hotel. While it was clean, the facilities have clearly aged and no longer meet the standards one would expect from a four-star property. The hotel staff were quite authoritarian, creating the impression that they were looking for any opportunity to impose rules, which negatively affected the overall experience. Another downside was the air conditioning system, which could not be adjusted to the desired temperature but was instead set according to the hotel's preference. Additionally, the pool and sun loungers were insufficient for the size of the hotel, which has seven floors. Even at the pool's opening time at 10 a.m., there was already a queue for sun loungers. On the positive side, the hotel is well-located, just a 15-minute walk from the beach. The beach itself was a true oasis of relaxation, with a beautiful sea that made the effort worthwhile. In conclusion, the hotel does not live up to its four-star rating, and the overall experience was mixed, with both positive and negative aspects.

The property is ok, but a lot could be improved with the facilities and warmness of staff. Had to pay cash for a towel deposit which was unexpected and didn't have any.

Only a one night stay but comfortable & with a pleasant view - always a plus when you want to relax in the evening.

The restaurant and staff and choice of food was beyond my expectations, i would definitely rate that a 4 star. The spar facilities also fab! Hotel rooms i would rate a 3* as certain things are in need of an upgrade. Their was alot of noise all throughout the nights, "lots of knocking on doors, there was no consideration towards the other guests at all"! When notified reception, it was delt with very well however it's a constant turnover so the same problem with a different room, had minimal sleep over 2 of the nights. It was mentioned from a female member of reception staff that, we try and put all the old together on the same floor, "so what about young families with small children "do you also have a seperate floor for them"! Nobody likes to be put in a box only for you to accommodate the customer's you find matter the most!

Wonderful hotel

Beds are very stiff and a little expensive for an all inclusive but the included drinks were good. The food was pretty good! Staff at the front desk was very friendly and the dining area staff were amazing.

Good location to the beach. Only 10 min walk. Property is nice. Clean and fairly modern. Big percentage of German visitors. Staff are accommodating. Views from the rooms are not the best.

Hotel was very clean as were the rooms. Majority of staff helpful and polite. One draw back is that there is quite a steep hill up to the entrance. On the whole I would return.

Unique part of the hotel was friendly, helpful and very kind of staff they had. I would like to recommend to everyone to stay ın Grupotel Orient, where we felt safe, welcomed, enjoyed every minute of our stay. The night shows and kive musics were also good surprise. Thank you for management who thought about every details to make their guests to feel comfortable like at home and thank you to all workers of the hotel, who did not work to just earn a wage but put their good heart and lights on work and services.
