The biggest negative other than having no ac is that for aome reason, yiu have to guve yiur room ke to the front desk every time you leave. I hated having to wait several minutes while holding food for the clerk to checke people in . It's annoying, if it wasn't for that it would have been way better.

Everything was good but the bed wasn’t double and also they don’t have kettles in the rooms. But you can get free coffee or tea in the breakfast room. Other than that everything was fine…

Friendly human and feline staff. Great location for sightseeing and felt 100% safe at all times. Small lift available as the staircase might… surprise you if you don’t live around here? But it was fine for us. Overall strongly recommended.

Nice little hotel, what we expected for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location and very walkable. Felt very safe in the area. The hotel itself shows some signs of age but was sufficient for how little time we spent there!

Very nice small hotel. Very easy to walk to museums, park and main attractions. Large room. Only issue was no air conditioning so on very warm nights needed the fan. Cooler nights was no issue.

this was the second booking i had at this hotel. I needed to rebook for 1 less night but their policy would not let me - so i never stay this second time and lost my money for this 1 night stay.

Was visiting Amsterdam for a business trip (1 day stay before heading to another citiy for a conf). The Owl Hotel was a great place to stay - centrally located and nice clean room, along with excelltent breakfast (there was outside seating in the patio which was a nice option on sunny mornings). The Front Desk Staff (Olga) was very helpful with places to eat, and transit to the Central Train Center. First rate staff with excellenent skills, friendly, and knowleagable.

Clean an quiet good location

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Always very friendly. The rooms, at least the one we stayed in, was not very huge but was big enough that it was very comfortable. No A/C but that was not an issue even in 1st week of august. Nice breeze through the window and the street is extremely quiet. Location is perfect. A few minutes walk from all the designer shops, museums and central area, primarily the section with antique shops and art galleries. Also some extremely good restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. All in all a great little hotel in a fantastic location. Oh and has a resident cat who usually takes one of the chairs in the lounge as his. Doesn’t mind people giving him a rub or two either.
