Staff on reception is not friendly enough. Difficult to communicate if emergency situation.

Cleanliness need to be upgrade.

The location is excellent as it is right in front of the tram station and in the CBD area, which has plenty of food options and is close to everywhere. However, since it's an old building, cleanliness is a bit lacking and you need to request cleaning service if you want the room to be cleaned. But overall, it's okay because we spent most of our time out and were rarely in the room

Located in the heart of Melbourne CBD next to Flinders Street Station. Entered the room but it hadn't been cleaned yet; Reception asked me to another room. This room was better than the previous one, but the bathtub drain is clogged. The AC is really cold, and there's no remote for the TV. I live in the suburb and stayed here only for watching fireworks at the Moomba Festival.

A very good place to stay for travelers, because it is in the center of Melbourne, leaving the hotel you will immediately meet many people walking or shopping in Melbourne.

For us, the location of the motel is its biggest point as it is walking distance to Flinders Street Station and major shopping streets and eateries. A tram station is also right in front of the motel. We arrived early and the staff at the reception kept our luggage for us as we couldn't check in. However, when we arrived later at 3pm to check in, we found the reception empty and we had to call the number given for the staff to come and check us in. 🌟 A tip to anyone using esims like us and couldn't call any landline numbers, the TELSTRA payphone in front of the tram station can be used to call for free. And that's what we did to get the staff to come downstairs to check us in. Overall, our room was spacious but the cleanliness can be improved, especially the bedsheets as we could still see some stains on ours. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

Nice place to rest with low price.

Very close to Flinders Station and Federation square. In the CBD area, easy to go around city. Discounted parking at Wilson parking on 172 or 192 Flinders st is available. Price is good. Good for those who just want to go around town.

Had a phone and a couple hundred dollars worth of shoes and other items stolen. Complained and got kicked out. Worst place I've been too.

It’s my first time visit melbourne and City square is a great way for your first stay. It close to every thing and the man at the reception is very helpful. The room is not that new but It have everything you need, it can put my 2 large luggage and still have a space. Airport skybus pick-up and drop-off are about 2 minute walking, it so easy if you have a large luggage.

Close to the culinary center and mall, clean, pleasant.

No toothpaste, no toothbrush, no water ready to drink.

(+) strategic location right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, close to Indonesian restaurants, clean rooms complete with microwave, refrigerator, water heater, toiletries available with towels and water heater (-) the hotel does not provide heating, but available air con, brushes hotel gear and sandals are not available (but it's not a big deal)

The hotel is nice and clean. It is very convenient because it is located in downtown Melbourne and only steps to the flinders station and tram stop. really highly recommended.

The hotel looks small but there are a lot of rooms. Staying in a single room is delicious how come it's not cramped. Complete again there is a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, iron. The location is also near everywhere just next door there is a tram station.

I forgot my money in the room and checked out... but they gave me my money.., they are very honest... very good service beautiful room very big washroom... Receptionist were very helpful... 😇😇😇
