A simple, practical stay in District 1. I stayed here as a solo female traveler and found the location very convenient. It is in District 1, so many attractions, restaurants, convenience stores, and other places are within easy reach. One thing I really liked is that the property has a rooftop. Some rooms appear to have balconies, but if your room doesn't have one, you still have the rooftop as an outdoor space. There is also a shared kitchen, which is useful if you want to prepare something simple. Right next to the property there is also a café/eating place. I didn't actually try the food there, but I saw quite a few local people eating there, so it seemed like a genuinely local option rather than just a place made for tourists. As a solo female traveler, I was also comfortable coming back around 9 PM. There were still plenty of people outside and the area didn't feel deserted, which made me feel comfortable returning to the property at night. The room itself worked well for me because I mainly needed a place to sleep and shower after spending the day outside. So if you're looking for a luxury hotel or a property where you spend most of your time indoors, this may not be what you're looking for. But if you want a practical base in District 1 with a rooftop, kitchen, and convenient surroundings, I think it makes sense. And one funny thing: HPH might actually be more introverted than I am 😂 I did self check-in and self check-out, so there was very little interaction with the staff. For me, that was perfectly fine. Overall, I liked it as a simple base for exploring Ho Chi Minh City.
