DONT STAY! This hotel was so unclean never stayed somewhere where I have had to leave the hotel and book somewhere else before! First room had a sink not working properly so made staff aware it wasn’t fixed so offered another room but this room had a bathroom that smelt like sewage, told staff and they said they didn’t believe us, went back to the original room and on closer inspection found mystery stains all over the walls, hairs in the bed and bathroom, bathroom door that didn’t close properly nearly got stuck in bathroom and a main bedroom door that also didn’t close properly, paint coming off everywhere dirty carpets not hoovered in room or halls and cobwebs everywhere, the staff weren’t very helpful and upon reading other reviews have noticed this is a common problem, we requested a refund and told by staff they couldn’t deal with it got in contact with our booking website and again told the hotel wouldn’t give us a refund as they didn’t respond to our booking website, so a waste of money for a dirty run down hotel

Mould in the kettle and on towels, when this was brought up they said they'd bring us new towels so fair enough, they brought the new towels at 10pm, three hours later mind you. In the morning went to make a cuppa and the kettle was full if mould. The excuse was "well its a 3 star hotel"

If you are looking for just one night stay it’s fine but not for long stays, as the building is very old it requires a lot of improvement.

Room was very basic, didnt read the features properly and realised it was room only - no bathroom just a sink in the corner. Sheets were clean but the room itself was dusty and in need of a make over. Overall not great

Staff were friendly enough on check in. Was surprised by the £3 charge for parking as thought it was free parking. He didn’t mention anything until after I had submitted my registration. But maybe it’s on the site somewhere and I missed it. Cut myself on the bed as screw was sticking out so screwed it back in and bed seemed to be half decent and half lacking springs. Very noisy guests but can’t blame the hotel for that.

To start of the condition of the outside of the hotel did not leave with a good first impression. The room itself was disgusting and was not well kept the bathroom had wires coming out of the wall and where only covered with what looked like masking tape, the full room/hotel looked like it needed a deep clean may i add there where fridges and microwaved sitting in the hall which was weird in its self. As for actually sleeping in the hotel that did not happen as we left and got another hotel elsewhere. Would absolutely not recommend. Do not waste your time or money.

Good clean roadside hotel. Great for an overnight. Exactly what I expected. Shower was a bit hard to deal with is all.

This was a dump ,worst you can think of and this should not exist. Bathroom ,toilets shared ,carpet dirty,next to a loud street and guess what £3 for parking

Do not stay here, it needs demolishing. If you are desperate for somewhere to sleep consider getting a sleeping bag and sleeping on the streets! It was a walk in, walk out and find another hotel scenario!

Perfectly clean room near Newcastle city centre. Perfect for what we needed

There is a local One Buy in a nearby street which is pretty much it for local shops however Gateshead Town centre is a 15 minute walk away

I did not stay there they refused to refund the place was full of crackheads and drunken it had Stains and stunk like piss and stuff was very rude

Toilet wouldnt flush, stains of damp all on roof. Sink blocked. Overpowering smell of sewerage in the corridor.
