I’m sorry to say this, but this was the worst place I’ve ever spent a night in. While it’s true that the price is affordable and they offer a 5-hour transit rate—ideal for its location just a 10-minute walk from the airport—the condition of the inn and the check-in experience left me deeply disappointed.
First, the cleanliness was appalling.
It felt like the place had never been cleaned. The bedsheets looked unwashed, the furniture was broken, the air conditioning barely worked, mould was everywhere, and the worst part was the bathroom—it was absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even bring myself to take a photo. There were droppings from house lizards everywhere, and both the room and bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell.
I booked this inn on Traveloka, influenced by the positive reviews. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have expected much for such a low price—but it’s still disheartening to see such a lack of basic maintenance. The location is actually very strategic, and with proper care and cleanliness, it could easily attract more guests. A small price increase would be totally justifiable if the place were clean and comfortable.
Second, the check-in process was frustrating.
For the first time in years of using booking apps like Traveloka, I was asked for a deposit—either Rp100,000 or my ID. I had already paid in full through the app and was only staying for a short 5-hour transit. It felt unnecessary, especially since there was nothing in the room worth damaging or stealing. They didn’t even inspect the room when I checked out, which made the whole deposit request feel pointless.
Just a heads-up: be mindful when choosing a place to stay.
Don’t be tempted by the low price. Sometimes it’s better to spend a bit more to get basic comfort and hygiene. If only I had known…
