This is my first time staying at this hotel. I was shocked when I got into the room. The damp smell from the bathroom was powerful. Moreover, when I took a shower, OMG, the water was getting all over the floor, and at some point, it got into my room. I called the receptionist, panicking, and they seemed very cool about it. Apparently, according to the janitor, it had always happened that way. The next morning, I woke up and went to the bathroom, and the smell was unbearable. I called again to clean and give me a room refresher. They did, but it only lasted for about 20 minutes! I will never return to this hotel again!

stayed 3 nights in deluxe room. the room was spacious, cleanliness is good. the access to mall is a plus so we can easily get alternative for lunch and dinner. need to add menu in breakfast to be more variative (e.g: fresh juice, cake, and bread)

The staff was friendly and fulfilled our room requests as requested. The city view was a delight, seeing the twinkling lights of the city. 👍🏻 Although the hotel is old and some corners look worn, the room and bathroom are very clean. 👍🏻

Our experience staying at Solo Paragon revealed that the quality of the room materials, bed linens, towels, and bathroom facilities had significantly declined, so no replacements or upgrades were made. The food was very average.

I booked online a week before check-in with a request for a non-smoking room. The day before check-in, we contacted the hotel directly to confirm we'd get a non-smoking room. They said no, and that online reservations depend on availability at check-in. The hotel refused to make any effort. We were disappointed with this response, as it meant we had to arrive without a guaranteed room that met our request. Is this the consequence of booking online via the app, as the hotel claims?

For the past ten years, whenever we've been to Solo, we've always chosen the Paragon Hotel. The staff are friendly, and check-in and check-out are quick. What makes it even more convenient is the convenient access to Paragon Mall. Our last stay was on a Sunday, so we could stroll along Jalan Slamet Riyadi on car-free day. In short, we felt at home.
