The pod itself was clean, although it was clear the TV isn’t wiped often. The common areas are well maintained, especially the kitchen. Useful little study rooms, comfy couches and big enough fridge for people to put their food (labelled). I think the women’s shower room could really be improved as it is extremely small and although there are two showers, there is no way 2 people can squeeze in with their stuff and shower at the same time. That being said, I appreciated that we could grab new towels as often as needed. Charging 20$ to clean our clothes once seems extreme considering the price of the room. The washrooms, separate from the shower area, are in dying need of a deep clean. Although the toilets are disinfected regularly, the door, door handles, mirror and toilet cabinet doors are filthy. I also find it really disappointing that the hotel doesn’t have recycling or composting; everything goes in one single trash bag! Unacceptable in 2026. All in all, comfortable bed, practical for a short stay and friendly staff, but could really be improved.

Adéquat et bien situé.

Location was great. Unfortunately we had 3 luggages and no elevator to use. No locked luggage area. Room cabinet lock was not working. We departed couple days before our check out. Maybe this was not a good choice for us. I would not recommend.

Not the cleanest. Blanket was yellow and the showers were dirty. Very comparable to any Hostel. Had some nice private areas for doing work and making calls. The tvs in the pods were a nice touch.

Thé hotel was clean, staffs were nice and friendly but the bed was not comfortable. The pillows and bed were too hard make my body aches and having difficulty to fall asleep. The noise from other guests are inevitable but that’s something hard to control. Overall it was ok, just the bedding .

It was my first time staying at a hotel like this. It was a very fun novelty. I am 6 foot three and did fit with about 2 inches of room to spare. The shower stalls and changing rooms are a bit tight, but it gets the job done. Great location, easy to walk around. Everything looked new and well kept.

Great location for the space. My only issues were cleanliness and that there was no lock on the door. When paying such a premium for a private room I think it should be clearly advertised that it is not a proper room with a lock (or even a roof), but rather a cubicle within the same room as the other bunks

So worth staying here. The pods were surprisingly quiet and had a great nights sleep

If you want explore Toronto and just have cheap place to sleep in the centre and youre ok with sleeping with ear plugs then this is right place to go. You will get everything you need with cozy kitchen plus really kind personal. Also there is public parking spot at university of toronto (~300m) where you can leave car for about 20 cad overnight.
