Pod-Inn Hotel

Positives: Amazing price for staying in downtown Toronto. The set up of the hotel is good with different areas for eating, studying, sleeping, etc. Negative: NOISE while you are going to sleep/sleeping. If saving money is your main priority then you just have to put up with the noise. If you want a good nights sleep then pay more and stay in another hotel. People are not trying to make noise but you can hear everyone unpacking, plastic bags being opened, people entering and exiting their pod, people having quiet conversation, alarms going off in the morning. Bring eye blinders and ear plugs and that will help. I could not use my ear plugs because I had to get up at 4:40AM (and probably woke people up)

The pods were not fully enclosed, other guests were loud and uncomfortable to sleep so close to.

I’m a well travelled person - I’ve stayed in pod hotels and hostels before, this is by far the worst. The pictures make it look a lot better, and I genuinely do not understand why the reviews are so high. This is what you’re getting for a 100$ a night: -a dirty bed (dirty linens, hair, and dust everywhere) in a 50 bed dormitory that is stuffy and not ventilated. Oh yeah, and there’s no key needed to access this room - anyone can walk in. -no security whatsoever : your luggage will be stored in an open room, and the hostel code is basically posted on the door, so once again, anyone can get in. -free breakfast with open jars of jam and cream cheese left on the counter unrefrigerated overnight. I actually never leave reviews but I actually felt cat fished with this : would have been better to stay in a place that’s a actually a hostel, do yourself a favour and pay the extra 50$ a night to stay in a real hotel or find an actual hostel to stay in. I hope the owners can take this review seriously and do some serious improvements in the security and cleanliness of this establishment, because they feel like an afterthought.

Super bien situé en plein centre avec tout à porter de main. L'endroit est propre, ça sent bon. Le personnel est très sympa malgré que je ne parle pas anglais. Les capsules sont bien équipée, TV avec casque, petit placard qui ferme à clé. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine et le petit déjeuner est a disposition tous les matins, il y a du choix. Les toilettes et les douches ne sont pas mixtes donc très bien. Il y a des salles pour travailler au calme et des banquettes pour se détendre. Le seul inconvénient c'est l'escalier pour entrer, j'avais une grosse valise lourde donc pas facile mais c'est le seul point négatif que je pourrais dire.

Management and staff were great. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. Good location for food/shops and things to do.

Excellent Staff like it....

Pod was spacious and sufficient. The sleeping area was expected to be noiseless. Therefore, no disturbances were observed. The amenities were good. Place was cleaned and maintained well.

A ball old white man with backpack and black shirt threaten me and took pictures of me in the hostel , very unsafe . He also manage to get into the hostel with his own code followed me.
