We checked in at 3:30 AM after a long drive in from Vancouver. Front staff was very nice. I had my two children with me and two seniors. I had let him know that we would need a late checkout and we were willing to pay extra if needed. He stated 12 PM at the latest anything after that I can connect with staff in the morning and deal with it. At 10:30 AM the next morning we had someone knock our door wanting to clean our room stated to her we had told them downstairs for a late checkout. Then we get a call from downstairs and I repeat myself again about the late checkout he claims he knows nothing about it. It was very frustrating as it was already stated prior that we needed the extra rest from coming in so early they repeatedly called and knocked on our door asking us how long. I would never stay here again. The staff is just incompetent. The rooms are old and aged and smell like mold. The washroom is absolutely disgusting. I would give this a negative if I could.

We were in the unrenovated part so the issues were: no shelf or counter space: I opened the broken ironing board to place my things. Poor electrical plugs: couldn't plug in the the coffee maker where it was, had to plug it in across the room. Very dry in the room, had to buy a humidifier to breathe. Difficult to shower without a handheld hose, need to put 1 in. Need a variety of pillows, different thicknesses. Also need wider parking spaces, almost wiped out the neighbours. Good stuff: very quiet rooms. Very friendly staff.

Pay extra for breakfast when booking and then had to pay $60 for breakfast. Would rather go to an actual breakfast restaurant as the food was sub par at best.

We stayed here for the first time. The rooms are definitely spacious and fit my family of 4 in it with plenty of space to move around. The staff were very easy to deal with although their was a language barrier with a few which made it hard but it wasn't a deal breaker. The rooms were clean, the coffee in the room was good and the pool was warm. Still wish they had a hot tub for us parents who needed a relaxation time. All and all I would highly recommend this place, we will book there again.

The hotel is definately older, but extremely clean in spite of it, really reassuring. Lots of the staff were a bit inexperienced, but extremely pleasant and accomodating, so it was really nice. Only complaint is that the pool the 2nd day we were there literally had a skum skin on it, not sure what was going on with it, but pretty gross, and its super tiny. Food was simple, but tasty. All in all great, as long as you don't want a swim

The pool had a beetle in it. The bathtub was quite dirty. They had a power outage for 6 hours one day. Elevator seemed like it might break down any second. You get what you pay for. Phone didn’t work to call front desk, tried phoning front desk with my cell and no one answers.

The property is dated and you can tell. They were doing renovations during our stay, on all the rooms surrounding our room. Staff was fairly nice, be one staff didn’t know which rooms were being renovated which I could not believe. At night, there’s a security guard watching the front door, good that security is present but also gives sense of insecurity on area on why a security guard is needed, unlike other hotels in other areas. The parking lot is a bit dark. Overall, the day is just satisfactory but would not recommend staying here if have other choice.

The room provided was a life-safety hazard. There was no window in my bedroom, it was a broom closet. There was pet dander, and fur all over the room. We stayed one night, and checked-out, but were charged for three. Do not book here. Avoid at all costs for safety reasons.
