Amazing location. Very practical rooms for comfortable sleep and ease of Uber/Taxi pick up. Breakfast is made to order and delicious. Would not recommend if you require additional seating, storage, or simple food prep. It’s a sleep and get going affair. Lounge area is bright with plenty of space for reading, scrolling, or work. We enjoyed the lower key nature w/out the fluff of the major hotels near by.

Room was clean, bed comfy, front desk friendly. Lots of places to work and sit downstairs in the lounge. In bathroom, very small sink with no "counter" - was hard to place my flatiron - and the mirror in the bedroom did not have a plug near it that could be used. No bottled water provided, just a jug to fill from the tap. Most important - only instant coffee. No coffee maker in the bedroom.

Union Hotel was pretty nice & The staff were super friendly + helpful! I did expect a bit more for the price, especially given the volume of tv. We could barely hear, especially with the air blasting! Overall it was a decent stay.

Lots of restaurants nearby and the big stadiums and cn tower are in walking distance, also right by union train station! All the staff were very friendly and the food and drinks at the cafe were good!! Would stay here again!

The Union Hotel is a great Toronto location. Seven minute walk from Union Station, 10 minute walk to Scotiabank Arena. Rogers Stadium is a bit further but absolutely within walking distance. Downtown Toronto...everything you want is right there.

Perfect central location 3 minutes walk from the train station where we got a train from the airport to. City walkable but we used bus and tram too. Hotel reception area / bar modern and comfortable place to work or chill. Staff all excellent. Room compact but very comfortable huge bed and en-suite bathroom finished to a high standard and shower powerful. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend/ stay again. Initial impression from outside wasn’t great as hotel sign was a temporary banner but everything was fine inside
