Excellent stay family suite was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay

Great room for families either older children as a proper second bed not a sofa bed! Check was good helpful staff and lovely cookies!

Overall, the Double Tree is a lovely hotel with very helpful staff and great customer service. The only downside in our experience was the pillows (1 too small and 1 too big), seems to be quite common these days, but we couldn’t sleep properly on either of them. Also, the food prices are quite expensive (breakfast is approx. £17 and a basic pizza will set you back £21 if delivered to your room).

Room was spacious and clean I had a double king room with sofa/bed Staff very helpful, breakfast was excellent good choice I had traditional cooked English breakfast Overall a very enjoyable stay

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Great location. We requested a fridge for medication on the booking, and I phoned up a few days prior to check in to check it was okay and assured it was, it wasn’t in our room on arrival however it was brought up within 10 minutes. Housekeeping were absolutely excellent. There was great air con in the room, with an additional fan in the room as well. Lovely big television. Plenty of lights and plus sockets. Lovely comfy beds and pillows. Clean room. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was one of the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast was always busy but well stocked. Myself and my daughter are vegan and it was amazing to set oat, almond and soy milk out as standard as well as alpro yogurts. Friendly staff and colouring out for kids in reception. Also the lift always only took seconds to come even when though the hotel was very busy. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Computer system down when i arrived at 9pm. No backup system in place? After a free drink, i went back up to reception at 10.20 and they seemed able at that stage to set the room cards up manually. (Not sure why they couldn’t do that before)? Breakfast was very good, credit where it is due.

The property was clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay\. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience\. The air conditioning was not working for the entire three days we stayed\. When we arrived, we found fans in the room, which suggested the hotel was already aware of the issue\. The rooms were extremely hot, and we had to keep the windows open to make them bearable\. When I contacted reception to report the problem and requested a room change, I was told that all the rooms were the same\. This response was disappointing and did not address the issue, especially as it did not appear to be true\. For the amount we paid, we expected basic amenities such as a functioning cooling system\. The hotel failed to provide the level of comfort and service advertised, and the customer service was very poor\. Overall, apart from the cleanliness, our experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend staying

Modern fairly busy hotel with a small but useable pool and plenty of parking. Restaurant food not much more than average but only fast food chains in walking distance so need to drive for anything better.

The hotel is not the quality of other Hilton hotels I have stayed at. It was disappointing, no air conditioning and a very tired pool.

We stayed at this hotel with our baby and our parents and unfortunately the air conditioning in both of our rooms were not working. This made the room uncomfortable, especially during the night, and was very disappointing for a family stay. If he hotel was already aware of these faults, the room should not have been allocated to guests, particularly with a baby. Due to late night check-in and us being tired from long travel, we did not bother reporting but this kind of problem should have been checked before check-in. If it was hotel wide issue, they should have sent us early notice, so that we could have arranged accomodation elsewhere. I hope the hotel improves communication and room checks in future, as this affected our experience significantly, especially my parents.
