The hotel staff, from the security guard at the front gate to the room service and breakfast crew, were very friendly and helpful. The distance to my destination was only 300 meters. The food was varied and delicious. The hot water from the shower was very strong and comfortable. I was lucky!! Since I arrived at 10 am to confirm, the FO called me at 12 noon and said the room was ready. That was very helpful because I had two small children with me. Thank you very much Hotel Manhattan!! Don't forget to try the Indian restaurant on the 36th floor, it was delicious!

For residents of Jakarta seeking a brief staycation, as well as visitors from outside the capital, the hotel offers excellent accessibility, being conveniently situated near public transport links. This makes it both practical and appealing as a base for a short urban retreat. One of the most compelling aspects of the experience reveals itself towards the early evening. As dusk begins to settle and the skies remain clear, I would highly recommend making your way up to the rooftop. From this vantage point, one is treated to a striking panorama of Jakarta’s skyline, where towering buildings gradually illuminate the city with a captivating display of lights. It is an atmosphere that lends itself beautifully to quiet appreciation, casual dining, or simply capturing memorable photographs.
