I recently stayed at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel in Jakarta, and my experience was very satisfying. The location is very strategic—easily accessible, close to shopping centers and office areas. Upon arrival, the hotel staff greeted me very friendly and the check-in process was quick. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The atmosphere was classic yet well-maintained, making for a more restful rest after a long day of activities. The hotel facilities are also complete—a swimming pool, a restaurant with a varied menu, and an elegant lobby area. The breakfast was one of my favorites. There was a wide selection of dishes, ranging from traditional Indonesian to international. The service was prompt and warm. Overall, my stay at the Grand Sahid Jaya made me feel well-treated. This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure trips. I will definitely return again in the future.

I booked a room for January 17, 2026. I contacted customer service via WhatsApp to confirm the room and amenities. What impressed me was the fast response and friendly staff. My expectations were in line with what most visitors have reviewed here, impressive. The room was clean, amenities were available, hot water was available, and there was a city view from the balcony. Access to Sudirman is very affordable, dining outside the hotel is just a short walk away, and the mall is also quite affordable with plenty of options. Truly comfortable. Thank you!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the experience has been consistently good. The check-in process was quick and easy, with only a small deposit of IDR 50,000 required. There are plenty of food stalls and local eateries around the hotel, making it very convenient to find meals. The location is also great—only about 500 meters from a shopping center. This is my third time staying at the Shangri-La. My first two visits were many years ago, yet the hotel’s standards haven't wavered; true to its name, it consistently delivers a five-star experience.
The hospitality is top-notch and the breakfast spread is incredibly diverse. While the exterior has an 'old-fashioned' look, it retains a timeless 'old money' elegance that is still very comfortable. The highlight for me, however, is definitely the swimming pool—especially the kids' pool area, which is simply the best!
