Techo International Airport (KTI) is the main airport for Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. It replaced Phnom Penh International Airport as the capital's airport, so flights to and from the city now use KTI. The airport is in Kandal Stung District, Kandal province, about 20 km south of Phnom Penh city centre. One passenger terminal, designed by Foster + Partners, handles both domestic and international flights.
Techo Airport was developed by Cambodia Airport Investment Co., Ltd. (CAIC), and its aeronautical operations are run with VINCI Airports. It is a Code 4F airport, built to take the largest wide-body aircraft. Below you will find the terminal layout, airlines, transport to the city, parking and the main facilities.
Everything happens in the main terminal, whether you are flying within Cambodia or abroad. Domestic and international check-in are in separate rows of the same hall, and a fast-track row is available too. Follow the screens to the row for your flight, and check the details on your e-ticket because assignments can change.
The operator offers an optional buggy service from the kerb to the gate, and between terminal zones and piers. It is sold as part of the fast-track product and is handy if you have heavy bags or a long walk.

The schedule tables further down this page show which airlines have upcoming flights from KTI on your dates.
Techo Airport is about 20 km from central Phnom Penh, so leave enough time for the road trip. Journey times depend on traffic, and fares are shown at the counter or in each app.
The Airport Express Bus runs daily between the airport and Kouch Kanong Circle Bus Station. It travels via Monivong Boulevard, the Morodok Techo Flyover Bridge and Samdech Techo Hun Sen Boulevard. Stops along the way include Canadia Garden, the Royal University of Law and Economics, Bred Bank and AEON Mall Mean Chey.
Official taxi counters are in the arrivals area. App taxis are available too, through Grab, WowNow and PassApp. Agree the trip in the app or at the counter before you set off.
Car rental counters are in the Arrival Hall, for travellers who would rather drive themselves into Phnom Penh or beyond.
A drop-off lane at departures gives drivers a short free period to unload. For longer stays there is Regular Parking, while Premium Parking sits on two sides of the terminal near the entrances. There is also motorbike parking, and buses wait in a standby area at the airport entrance. EV charging and accessible bays are in both the Regular and Premium car parks, and monthly passes are sold. Rates are set by the operator, so check them on its parking page.
Two Plaza Premium lounges serve departing passengers: Plaza Premium First on the departure airside mezzanine, and the Plaza Premium Lounge. The first-class lounge lists showers, Wi-Fi, charging points and its own smoking area. Check the entry conditions with the lounge or your airline before you go.
The terminal has three public levels. Level 01 is for arrivals, with immigration, international and domestic baggage reclaim, customs, the meet-and-greet hall and a few shops. Level 02 is for departures: the drop-off kerb, domestic and international check-in, screening, outbound immigration, airside shops and cafes, the premium lounge and the international bus gates. Level 03 has food and seating, both landside and airside.
The landside food area on Level 03 is open to everyone, which suits anyone seeing friends off. After security, more cafes and restaurants are spread across Levels 02 and 03.
Duty free and other shops are airside on Level 02, after immigration. Landside, there are shops in the Level 01 meet-and-greet hall for arriving passengers and visitors.
On the departures level, a bank branch and money exchange sit near the domestic check-in rows, and another ATM sits by the international check-in rows. Airside you will find exchange and ATMs at more than ten points. Arriving passengers can use bank services and ATMs in the landside arrivals area after customs.
Baby care rooms with changing tables, hot water and seating are next to every set of restrooms. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are found throughout the terminal, and accessible parking bays are in the car parks. If you need a wheelchair, request it through your airline.
Go by your airline's check-in time. Allow for the 20 km road trip from the city on top of that. Departing passengers check in on Level 02, then pass screening, and international travellers also clear immigration before reaching the shops and gates.
On arrival you go down to Level 01 for immigration, baggage reclaim and customs. Entry requirements for Cambodia are set by the government, so check the official guidance for your passport before you fly. For the latest on your flight, see the Traveloka flight status page.
The fare cards on this page show fares from Phnom Penh to popular destinations. Under them, the schedule tables list upcoming flights at KTI by date, with the airline and scheduled times. They are a selection rather than every service. Choose a route and date, compare airlines and times, and set a Price Alert if you want to wait for a better fare.
