I booked this room through Expedia largely because of the stunning falls-view photos shown in the listing. The room advertised featured a panoramic, unobstructed view of Niagara Falls from inside the room. Unfortunately, the room I was assigned was very different. A large exterior roof/ledge directly outside the window blocked a significant portion of the view. While the falls could technically be seen when standing near the window, the obstruction prevented us from enjoying the view while sitting in the room, which was the main reason we chose and paid for this specific room type. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the actual view did not match the expectation created by the listing photos. If some rooms have partially obstructed views, that should be clearly disclosed during booking so guests can make an informed decision. I feel the photos used in the Expedia listing do not accurately represent all rooms in this category, and I was disappointed that the experience did not match what was advertised.
