We had a short break in London for 3 days This establishment is not the ritz and its not advertised as such but what it is, is great value for money. Personal care and service was excellent. Building is a work in progress, the room and shower was spotless. We had a problem with the tv reception but this was sorted promptly. Transport links are excellent with bus stops a few metres from the door and tube stations within 10 mins walk or 5 min bus ride. Would highly recommend a visit

The location is great, the property “photographs well” It’s been refurbished cheaply or still in the process of renovation. The ‘feel’ of the place is a little run down and needs a good cleaning

Very basic and in need of refurbishment. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was clean with drink making facility but nowhere for clothes to go. Certainly not luxury but functional for one night. Good wine bar very near and a couple of restaurants.

Awful. GDPR breached at check in. Waited 40 mins to check in. Room was so dirty we didn’t end up staying and booked somewhere else. Requested a full refund. Still waiting on the hotels response on that front. Expedia have not been helpful whatsoever regarding any of this matter.

We took a chance on this hotel despite negative reviews. That was a mistake. As we were flying to the hotel we landed with 3 hours to check in and received a critical email saying that our room would not be availble because of gas leakage. We were initially offered 2 rooms (in the same hotel that were “perfectly safe” but could have our booking due to damage but that quickly changed to a 4 person room for our group of five adults. With less than 1.5hrs to check in we agreed to the alternate room. As we inquired about credit for the room price different we were told that because we agreed to the different room we would not be entitled to a credit. Luckily we received the correct codes to enter our room but it was in a state of disrepair. There is a sign asking for the shower to be closed during use but it is physically impossible to close. The toilet seat is barely hanging on and needs to be positioned before and after use. There is a clothes cabinet that could aptly be named the leaning tower of Pisa The fire alarm went off during our second evening there. The alarm sounded for at least 30 minutes and the guests assembled outside. No ems showed up although the fire department and the police department are conveniently located 500m down the round. As we met the other guests at least three of them were stranded outside during their check ins because they were given incorrect information. I suggest anyone considering this hotel to read the reviews and beware

The room was basic and clean except for a suspicious looking something stuck to wall by my bed. Possibly a large snot ball which surely could not have been missed by the person who made the bed. Tea and coffee facilities were supposed to be available. I had 2 mugs and 3 tea bags. No coffee, milk or sugar and no staff on site. Bang went my early morning cuppa. Didn’t appear to be any smoke detectors in the corridors or fire evacuation instructions, luckily I made it through the night. Did have a lovely what’s app message at 12.30 post midnight to ask if I was enjoying my stay though. Avoid this hotel if you value your life. It’s the worst budget hotel I’ve ever used. How a remote reception with no staff on site is supposed to work if you need something beats me. Thanks for nothing Hotel Orlando.

No staff on arrival. Had to call the organisation to get the door codes. The door code for our room didnt work. However, somebody walked up in front us to our room, and helped us gain entry. I presume he was an employee, however he didnt introduce himself. They also sent an email with confirmation of the codes the following day! Once inside the room we noticed that there was a kettle, 1 mug and no milk, tea or coffee. No one to talk to so we had to get our own. The shower looked newish, however, there was no bracket to stow the shower. We were there 4 nights and no one cleaned the room or changed the lbed sheets.

Room had only one towel and bath matt when arrived. There was a slow water leak in bathroom when we arrived and we were given towels to soak up water. We stayed 5 nights and water leak was still there when we left. The room was not serviced therefore had to chase staff to get to give us more towels to replace wet ones on floor from leak. Anytime you used the bathroom you had a slip hazard as you left due to water. The electrics in room were not right with power randomly working, one bedside lamp worked the first night then not for rest of stay. hair dryer also worked on and off during stay and power points worked on occasion. TV did not have a remote when we arrived and when asked the staff reply was 'Oh did you want a TV' then went about getting a handy man to replace the whole TV from another room. On arrival we were given one tea bag and nine sugars thrown on table next to kettle and this was never serviced. On day 4 we had to chase staff to get extra toilet paper. There was only 2 pillows given on a double bed and when requested we were given an extra in a plastic bag with a pillow case to put on it once removed.

The room was anything but as advertised. The pictures do not reflect the standard, state, style of the accommodation at all - absolutely misleading and false. The room was a lot smaller and conditions questionable, especially the bathroom and shower. The hallway and staircase is dirty and smelly. To make matters worse, there was a water damage during the night and water came through the ceiling in what they call a bedroom, causing a puddle on the floor, a wet bed and wet belongings. Despite the discomfort caused (I had to leave the room, obviously) the hotel management has refused any compensation, nor have they provided any feedback towards a resolution. Even at the prices they sell the rooms for this is not worth it at all.

Absolutely awful place. Check in is a joke - there is no on site reception, and it is not explained when booking that you need to email them scans of your passport before they'll give you the code to the front door let alone your room. Every night of my stay there were groups of confused people stuck on the steps asking for help to get inside. One night a group of ten tourists with a reservation got into the building and started banging on bedroom doors trying to find a staff member. As a person travelling alone, this was very unnerving - especially as the bedroom doors had no way to secure them from the inside (as they use coded locks). When I arrived the front door was open as somebody was doing building work inside, and he took pity on me and let me inside my room, but it took 2 hours after I arrived for the email with the codes to come through so I could go in and out. The room I was given on the ground floor was filthy. They have been renovating and there was so much thick sanding dust on the walls and floors that I had to change my black t-shirt after brushing against one. The only things in the room were a double futon (advertised as a queen sized bed) a television and a night stand with a kettle and cup. There was nowhere to hang or store clothes, the net curtains on the window were torn, and the ceiling fan was broken. If you have any choice in the matter DO NOT STAY HERE.
