Orlando Hotel

No staff on arrival. Had to call the organisation to get the door codes. The door code for our room didnt work. However, somebody walked up in front us to our room, and helped us gain entry. I presume he was an employee, however he didnt introduce himself. They also sent an email with confirmation of the codes the following day! Once inside the room we noticed that there was a kettle, 1 mug and no milk, tea or coffee. No one to talk to so we had to get our own. The shower looked newish, however, there was no bracket to stow the shower. We were there 4 nights and no one cleaned the room or changed the lbed sheets.

Room was nothing like room advertised. Check in was dreadful with email details of how to access room after trying to call agent. Very disappointed and not worth price paid

Room had only one towel and bath matt when arrived. There was a slow water leak in bathroom when we arrived and we were given towels to soak up water. We stayed 5 nights and water leak was still there when we left. The room was not serviced therefore had to chase staff to get to give us more towels to replace wet ones on floor from leak. Anytime you used the bathroom you had a slip hazard as you left due to water. The electrics in room were not right with power randomly working, one bedside lamp worked the first night then not for rest of stay. hair dryer also worked on and off during stay and power points worked on occasion. TV did not have a remote when we arrived and when asked the staff reply was 'Oh did you want a TV' then went about getting a handy man to replace the whole TV from another room. On arrival we were given one tea bag and nine sugars thrown on table next to kettle and this was never serviced. On day 4 we had to chase staff to get extra toilet paper. There was only 2 pillows given on a double bed and when requested we were given an extra in a plastic bag with a pillow case to put on it once removed.

Surprisingly nice, super easy checkin using email sent, everything worked, and was clean with a good bed, solin functioning shower, kettle, and quiet.

The room was anything but as advertised. The pictures do not reflect the standard, state, style of the accommodation at all - absolutely misleading and false. The room was a lot smaller and conditions questionable, especially the bathroom and shower. The hallway and staircase is dirty and smelly. To make matters worse, there was a water damage during the night and water came through the ceiling in what they call a bedroom, causing a puddle on the floor, a wet bed and wet belongings. Despite the discomfort caused (I had to leave the room, obviously) the hotel management has refused any compensation, nor have they provided any feedback towards a resolution. Even at the prices they sell the rooms for this is not worth it at all.

Run down. Loss of internet. 2 people 1 coffee cup. Didnt see anyone that worked there. Dont recommend

There wasn't a reception to advise us on which room we were staying in. The sink in the ensuite was blocked. There wasn't any tea or coffee to go with the kettle in the room.

Absolutely awful place. Check in is a joke - there is no on site reception, and it is not explained when booking that you need to email them scans of your passport before they'll give you the code to the front door let alone your room. Every night of my stay there were groups of confused people stuck on the steps asking for help to get inside. One night a group of ten tourists with a reservation got into the building and started banging on bedroom doors trying to find a staff member. As a person travelling alone, this was very unnerving - especially as the bedroom doors had no way to secure them from the inside (as they use coded locks). When I arrived the front door was open as somebody was doing building work inside, and he took pity on me and let me inside my room, but it took 2 hours after I arrived for the email with the codes to come through so I could go in and out. The room I was given on the ground floor was filthy. They have been renovating and there was so much thick sanding dust on the walls and floors that I had to change my black t-shirt after brushing against one. The only things in the room were a double futon (advertised as a queen sized bed) a television and a night stand with a kettle and cup. There was nowhere to hang or store clothes, the net curtains on the window were torn, and the ceiling fan was broken. If you have any choice in the matter DO NOT STAY HERE.

Cheap basic accommodation Very attentive and friendly when I reported an issue Needs good tidy up and not storing building materials in entrance hallway would be a good start.

When i arrived i received a phone call saying that they could not accomodate me there at the orlando hotel but they gave me a room near Hyde park 20 minute bus journey. The orlando hotel had an old bed laying out the front and rubbish everywhere! What a dump

Unmanned hotel with construction being done, no AC and confusing check in process. Seemed to all be run by one woman on a cellphone.

The place is not bad, needs to be cleaner, communication is good, there is no wardrobe or hangers and that can be a problem

Was not told till arrival I had to pay with cash. Eventually they let me do bank transfer.

I stayed at the hotel for a week. My room was quite clean. The hand soap was watered down though and there was a suspicious stain on one of the throw pillows lol. The area was nice and convenient to two tube lines and there were nice cafes nearby. I did feel quite safe in the room which was nice as a solo female traveler. There was this high pitched ringing noise that would be on and off throughout the entire day and night. It was nuts and drove me nuts. I have no idea where it came from after trying to figure it out within the room. There was also a false fire alarm at 2:00 am one night and there was no one working at the hotel, so another guest had to call and get through to the hotel to be told how to turn off the alarm. It sucked. Also no one ever came to clean the room during the duration of my week long stay!! No emptying of the garbage even. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't very good either. My stay was fine but I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend.

Pay an extra £10 for a more cleanly hotel. It’s worth it

For a two star hotel, and the room price significantly under London's general price point I think the value for money was good. Would I go there for leisure stay or if I wanted anything fancy? No. But to stay somewhere clean and safe for one night I think this hotel offers a good option. The location is good and I felt safe walking around as it's right on the main street. The room was dated but clean and had nice amenities. Looks like they're doing some renovation too, so I will probably go back when I next need to stay in London. The reception is not really open but there was a staff member who greeted us in the entrance and was friendly and helpful.

Extremely dirty. Hairs in the shower. Dust all over the place. It looked like it has never been cleaned. I arrived at 11am. Yes, very early and they told me that the room was not ready. Fear enough. But, they gave me the room at 15.05. So you tell me that you could not harry up with my room? I landed early in the morning. Nothing I could have done about it. Disgusting place and staff

Ao pagar esse valor de tafira não se deve ter esperar luxo em Londres. Quarto bom para 4 pessoas dormirem e passarem algum tempo, ficamos suficientemente confortáveis. Cama boas, banheiro pequeno mas suficiente. Limpeza ok. Condições dos móveis e utensílios suficientes. Só não espere atendimento. Não há. Você toca a campainha até cansar e não aparece ninguém. Checkin e checkout tudo via instruções de email. Se vc resolver se hospedar atenção na entrada, pois tem duas entradas e ninguém te avisa. A recepção (que é só fictícia) fica na entrada da esquerda, onde vc vai conseguir fazer o checkin.
