Pretty hotel. We had a wonderful stay in room 121. The suite had a beautiful 4 poster and the bathroom a huge roll top bath. We visited the spa and had an excellent breakfast. Lovely stay. Will return.

Staff were lovely, helpful, polite and courteous throughout my stay. Had a lovely suite (401) which was right near the spa. The suites are away from the hotel, so even though there was a wedding going on when I arrived, it was nice and quiet in my room. Only one tiny thing I would say about the suite I stayed in was that it was a bit clinical... As in, it could do with a few ornaments to give it a more homely feel but only a personal thing so not essential. I had breakfast both days of my stay which was spot on. The only thing missing from the breakfast for me was the hash browns and black pudding, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the breakfast. All hot, plenty to choose from and nice surroundings. I had dinner in the evening served by polite, attentive & kind staff who looked after me the whole time I was there. The food... OMG! Probably the best fish & chips I've had for a long time! & For £19, you really are getting a bargain! The plate of food was huge. I also used the spa the next day which was clean, tidy and such a nice time. A bit noisy, but only to be expected when it's busy and it didn't spoil my visit in any way, so all good. Then had a back massage which was a perfect finish to my stay! Well done Ringwood! I would definitely stay again!

Excellent facilities and very clean room. Very quiet. Only downside was radiators on full all night and could not be turned down/off so very hot.

We attended a family wedding held at the hotel. Everything was great for our overnight stay. The staff were very helpful helping us with our luggage as due to the age of the building there are no lifts available. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. A small negative for us was the shower was in a bathtub which was a little tricky to get in/out.

It doesn't help that hotels.com use a different grading for rooms to the hotels own website so I didn't actually get the type of room I was expecting. Other than that a perfectly good stay other than with the room bath not having a plug they had to give me a key to a 2nd room as they were unable to find a spare bath plug

Our suite was large and clean, and had we been staying for more than 1 night, the fridge and dining room table & chairs would have been well used and much appreciated. We arrived when it was dark and, unfortunately, the grounds were poorly lit so it took a while to locate our suite number using our mobile phone torches. The rooms smelt a bit damp and the bathroom had a slight 'eggy' smell, although everything looked clean and well kept. It was a large suite. Unfortunately the WiFi did not reach the grounds of the suite so we were not able to log on to any film streaming apps, despite ringing through to Reception and them saying they would 'refresh it'. The main TV was not HD and the remote control buttons did not all work. A freshen up of the grounds is needed, as it could be a beautiful property, but was virtually devoid of any spring flowers or benches to sit on. It is in need of some TLC. The breakfast staff were pleasant, and they did provide a vegetarian sausage alternative, but we had to wait for certain hot food items to be replenished, and the croissants and pancakes never did appear. The price of our suite and breakfast was slightly less than a local Premier Inn, and I would give this property another go but perhaps in the main hotel rather than the suite.

This time around it wasn’t as good as my previous stay at this place, sorry to say but the first room i was given room 410 didn’t have any WiFi, the curtains were broke and wouldn’t close also with the room not having double glazing windows and being level to the busy main road the car noises are so loud and not possible to have a good nights sleep! After i complained about this i was given a room in the main building room 134 on the far side however the WiFi didn’t work properly here either so i wasn’t able to do any work on my laptop also the room wasn’t cleaned properly as the tea cups had lipstick and tea stains from previous customers. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned either the shower drips all night and doesn’t shut off properly and saying it was 3 degrees in the night the heater was turned off even though to the morning! Was a very good nights sleep! The only positive is the spa area is lovely and there lots of parking.

We took our little dog with us and the only place we could eat whilst with her was the conservatory. This is a nice space but the floor was not cleaned from when we arrived and had something to eat there (a chip was dropped on the floor). It was still there with other crumbs late morning Sunday which didnt seem very sanitary. The spa was terrible - overcrowded, not the peaceful hushed space described in the leaflet. My husband refused to attend all of his sessions due to this. He could not even find a place to sit in there let alone get access to the facilities, as it was full of giggling women toting glasses of champagne and taking up all available space. Very poor indeed and we wont be returning.

We only stayed one night as we were up to visit our pup for the first time. We had no serious negatives about the hotel with the only exception to a bit more character in the room. Our room was a spacious double, which was clean with a very large, comfortable kingsize. We did book a table in the restaurant and the food was extremely good. It is a shame it wasn’t as busy as we expected, specially as it was 5 days to Xmas. If you stay, I would recommend the restaurant. The food and service was very good. Breakfast did the trick for us! Overall, we will be staying again in mid January and if it was not that good, we would have stayed elsewhere. Worth noting, if you are at the far end of the hotel, it will be worth checking out the stairs downstairs before the main staircase as they are shortcuts to the bar and restaurant.
