Every member of staff we spoked to was very cheerful, polite and helpful. Everything was clearly explained. They had given us a complimentary room upgrade which is always a nice and unexpected bonus. The room was lovely, very spacious, clean and wonderful showers (multiple options 2 showers and a bath). Only comment is it isn't clear on Expedia that the pool is separate to the hotel and a separate cost but I do like to research the hotels a bit first and did see that on their website clearly stated and would've been happy to have paid should I have wanted to use it. The breakfast included was lovely with a small but good selection of options to help yourself to. Would definitely be very happy to stay here again

We loved the location on the Island, so close to Notre Dame with walking access to both the left bank and the Champs Elysees area. As well, we appreciated the up to date rooms and the breakfast (extra cost) was also very good. The 24 hour concierge service was well appreciated and the hotel chain has its own taxi service with courteous drivers.

The Rembrandt Hotel is located in South Kensington. As such it is the perfect location for visiting the museums located in this area. It is close to South Kensington Underground Station which provides easy access to Heathrow Airport and the West End. It is also within walking distance of Harrods and other shopping opportunities. The hotel is well maintained although I suspect that the rooms have not been updated for some time. The furniture in my room was an unappealing brown colour with tops covered in glass. The bathroom has a shower in the bath tub which has a fairly high sill. The room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. It had a good air conditioning system. Housekeeping standards were high and my room was serviced early each day. The staff were friendly and efficient. A buffet breakfast was included in the room rate which is rare in London these days. The selection of food was good and was refreshed and topped up regularly. Plenty of staff kept the tables cleared and cleaned.

I am writing this review in hopes that it will be helpful to anyone who, like me, looked at 1000 properties and now has property blindness. This hotel is in an excellent South Kensington location where the red bus 14 can take you pretty much anywhere in under 30 minutes. It is central to all of the historical sites one would visit in London. The site does offer a breakfast buffet for an additional price and while it will mention there is a pool on site-there is not. The spa next door grants you access for a price about $23 a day USD, less for children. I booked through Expedia and found the details of the cost of the pool obscured, or lost after comparing so many properties. We also unfortunately visited during a heat wave and the pool is temperature controlled, which is no fun when you’ve been in the heat all day and 90% of the locations around have no AC. The AC at the Rembrandt works well, which was a bonus. Overall, our family would recommend this hotel.

One night stay but was great hotel. Location perfect t and room was lovely. Comfortable and quiet. Amazing sleep. Air conditioning was a god send. Breakfast was good. Great choice. Staff were all great except one person at breakfast who was a bit rude but wouldn’t let that put me off. Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, lovely clean hotel well presented. Only slight complaint was the road outside can be noisy with cars especially on a weekend, not the hotel's fault. We have stayed a number of times and will be back.

First things first, shout out to the staff who is very friendly, and helpful, I would say that definitely made this a very special trip since it was my partners and I first time in London. I would definitely say the hotel has a very generous amount of options for breakfast which help curb eating out! Now the kinda negative, the room was nice, the bathroom was spacious, the bathtub was kinda hard to get in, there was a mold spot in the shower curtain, the outlets couldn’t handle much usage, again we came during a heatwave so not sure how much that played a part into it, the central air kept the room decently cool (please get rid of carpets would make hotel look a lot better), and the main reason for me booking this hotel was because it had a pool but not sure if Expedia or hotel dropped the ball, I read to use gym it was 15 pounds didn’t think it would also count for the pool so I didn’t use that, hotel overall I would say 3/5.

First things first, the room was clean and well enough kitted out. Breakfast was fine too. And it’s in a great part of the city. There was refurbishment work going on so there was little chance to relax in the room as there was loud drilling/sawing etc during the day. I guess that’ll be good for someone eventually. Big disappointment was the gym and pool. As much as it is attached to the hotel, It’s £15/day, but do not expect to be able to actually use the pool. The hours are very restrictive as it is mostly booked out for swim lessons, and if you have kids they are not allowed to use the pool at the other times. I was ‘allowed’ to get in for about 30mins in a tiny section of the pool which was cordoned off but essentially unusable - and certainly unpleasant. Management was wholly uninterested in this being an issue. All in all it was a pretty disappointing stay given most reviews and overall rating make it seem a lot better than it was in reality - and it has the price tag to accompany the rating. I’ve certainly stayed in much better options within a few blocks which are rated lower, and will go back to them after this stay.
