The Rembrandt

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The staff were especially wonderful—very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely comfortable traditional hotel. Twin room was adequate size for London. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great location, only 5 minutes walk to underground . I will stay here again!!!

Nice lounge area.

Fabulous location opposite the Victoria and Albert. Good choice at breakfast. Staff were very helpful, we had a problem with a buzzing noise which was dealt with promptly but unfortunately returned. It was 35 degrees at the time but feel the unit could do with a clean and update. Also there was only one of the two lifts working, which again may have been due to the hot weather.

Hotel overall very nice , amenities average, hardly any choice of tea etc . Staff very friendly . Breakfast unfortunately after booking we found out we had to leave very early when flight changed so would miss already paid for breakfast and was disappointed as it was a five star hotel all we could have before we left was one piece of fruit which had to be an apple and small tub of strawberry yoghurt when we were missing an apparently five star cooked hot breakfast and smoked salmon etc. But hotel looked lovely and very convenient .

Room and bathroom clean and spacious. Coffee and tea corner with mini refrigerator too. Staff was helpful and polite. On site restaurant excellent for breakfast and afternoon tea service. Hotel conveniently located near V&A Museum, Science Museum, Harrods.

It was great but the kids the kids got excited about the spa bath when they saw it, so it was a bit disappointing that it didn't work. Otherwise very happy - will come again

Excellent location for South Kensington and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was extensive and high quality. Will return to this hotel in the future

Only thing I didn’t like was guests had to pay to use the pool. I found that very unusual.

Zero amenities in classic room. For a 4 star rated hotel in one of London's finest location, I am afraid the hotel fails. Room had no amenities other than soap and shampoo and does not offer the courtesy of requesting any other amenities (e.g., vanity kits, slippers, shower cap, etc) The spa though advertised as part of the hotel is an independent business just adjacent to the hotel. Guests still need to pay GBP15 to be able to use the gym. Maybe this is for Expedia to mention in its listing. At the time of my visit the gym was undergoing many renovations. The hotel is clean. Nice atmosphere.

The room and staff are excellent. The cleanliness and courtesy of the staff was excellent also. The disappointing thing was after an overnight flight to London from New York we landed at 7:30 in the morning. Our room was not made available until 3pm after asking multiple times. Beyond this incident we are very happy with the accommodations.

Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing to complain about my recent stay at the Rembrandt Hotel, booked through Expedia. I checked into Room 250 on 24 July 2026, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, the air conditioning was not working, making the room unbearably hot. I reported the problem immediately and was promised it would be fixed, but nothing was done. Instead, I was given a dusty fan, which I could not use because my son has asthma and a dust allergy. I raised the issue again the following day and also requested a room change, but both requests were ignored. We also had a poor experience in the hotel restaurant. After a long journey, my children were hungry, so we ordered dinner. I asked the waitress to write down our large order to avoid mistakes, but she said she would remember it. After waiting 45 minutes, only half our food arrived. We were then told the rest of the order had never been placed. The remaining meals arrived after we had finished eating, and the pizza was no longer fresh and had to be thrown away. Despite this, we were still charged a service fee. This was the only holiday I could afford for my children, and it was overshadowed by poor service and unresolved problems. As I booked through Expedia, I ask that you investigate this matter with the hotel and advise what compensation or resolution is available.

Breakfast is great. Location is great.

This is a beautiful hotel located right in the heart of South Kensington. Hyde Park is close by and so is the tube. The staff are wonderful and could not be more helpful. Great place

Should be a free drink per person per stay, not per booking

We spent three of our four nights at the Rembrandt without our luggage because of a major luggage screw up at the British Airways terminal at Heathrow. Stuff at the Rembrandt could not have been more concerned or more helpful, particularly guys at the concierge desk. Our room was comfortable. Included breakfast was excellent. The bar was great with bar staff who know how to make a mean cocktail. Cabs were hailed with aplomb. A connected spa was excellent, certainly worth the extra daily charge to use it.

Great location, lovely staff and nice room. Would have liked to enjoy the pool but it is an additional cost and next door. Breakfast was good but breakfast room very warm and very busy.
