What a wonderful stay! I set this up for my daughter and her new husband as a mini honeymoon, and the staff treated them so well! They worked with me to have flowers and chocolates in their room and we were able to pre-purchase afternoon tea and a voucher for the restaurant as gifts from the US. Everyone was so helpful. And the food and service that they received was top-notch! They loved the pool and hot tub. Thank you!

The hotel itself was fantastic (especially the breakfast) but the pictures indicate that there is a pool in the hotel which is NOT the case. We assumed (because the pool is in the hotel images) that the pool was included in our stay but it is not. You have to pay additional costs which was very disappointing to us. The staff tried to help but it is the marketing department which is marketing something that is not part of the hotel! We hope no one else arrives at the hotel with their children excited to play in the pool only to be told you have to pay extra!

The main hotel areas are well maintained, and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. The room itself was a little dated and could do with a refresh. One thing to watch out for: the free drink coupon wording is confusing. It's one free drink per room, not per person — so don't expect one each if there are two of you. The location is great for the London museums and the Royal Albert Hall.

Well situated within easy walking distance of many attractions. We were surprised to be allocated a disabled room but as we stayed only for one night it didn’t really matter. Questioned this on checkout and we’re told this is normal practice when fully occupied. We suggested they make this clear on check in. AC worked well but dripped and left carpet wet. We had booked a table in advance and went down to the restaurant at 5pm to find it not open but a table reserved in the bar area, not what we really wanted but as we had a show to go to and no time to find anywhere else , so had to make do. We would not choose to stay here again.

It is a lovely hotel, the room was good and they do a very nice breakfast. The reason for my middle rating is the availability of the bar. I am in one of the major capital cities of the world near to a world famous concert venue,the Royal Albert Hall, and after returning from the show at just on 11pm, I was told that the bar had just closed, a ridiculous decision and not the service they should be offering and is the reason I would never return or recommend to other people to go there

Breakfast adequate Self service of coffee/ tea/ toast. Not what I would expect of a four star London Hotel. Dinner: After discussion with server regarding the curry dish. We asked for medium which was way to hot. On discussion the Manager offered £10..00 discount. We were not particularly happy as we were unable to eat the meal. However. We advised the hotel if they needed the money they would take it. We would not recommend due to the issues stated ,plus bedrooms were only average.

Perfect location for us. Directly across from V&A and a city bus stop. Very short walk to South Kensington underground station. Pubs, bakeries, ice cream shops, pharmacy, convenience store, and a variety of wonderful small restaurants within an extremely short walk. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Will stay again soon!

Very friendly staff, perfect location. Property is in need of a remodel, rooms are quite small and corridors very narrow. Nice breakfast buffet and comfortable bar area. Plenty of common meeting areas.
