The staff were nowhere to be seen at any point during my stay. There was no concierge service, no reception, no one to ask about anything or raise concerns with. If I’d known this I wouldn’t have booked this hotel! The room was only cleaned once, not daily. The aircon was on full blast with no controls and no way to turn it off and the hair drier didn’t work.

Booked for six nights and only stayed for one. There was no Wi-Fi in the property or air conditioning. There was also a poor level of safety with the main doors being left unlocked all night as well as the safe not working. While in the room there was an overpowering smell of damp and after being moved rooms there was still damp. Both rooms contained damp growing on the interior walls. No staff were present for the majority of the time and when they were present there was nothing they could do. Keys were left in a basket at reception for anyone to be able to access. Paid for breakfast however, there was no facilities available. No refund was giving when requested and one of the other guests had to go purchase food for breakfast. The phone number that was left for emergencies would never get answered meaning if something had happened then no one would have been able to do anything. This hotel was an absolute joke.

Don't stsy there!!! This was a horrible stay. We had an international flight and found out that the air conditioner didn't work and we found out the next day from staff that they have not been working for a while. Our room wasn't the only one. I was eaten up by mosquitos becaise we jad to sleep with our windows open. We had no water pressure in the morning and staff helped me to wash out my hair in other areas of the building. Staff at tge front drsk front desk is non existing but there is a phone number in case of an emergency. I called that number during the night and the person told me he would come in 10 min to liik at the air conditioner. When I called back 30 minutes later he said that this is the hotel in Rome. I had to use my xell phone to call be because the phone in our room had no cord tp ne plugged in. Many people left early leaving notes at the front desk that they had no water and aircondirioner. One of the workers quit thay day...said it was a horrible place to work, wasn't getting paid at times. I'm not surprised.

This hotel is awful and not as advertised. It does not have: - Air conditioning - 24/7 reception - Bar - Room service It also fails to meet the basic requirements of a hotel that shouldn’t need to even be advertised: - there is no toilet seat on our toilet - the room is dirty - some lights don’t work - power outlets are faulty and coming off the wall, which is not safe - the safe is not attached to anything so if someone did break in they could just take the whole thing - furniture is broken in the room - there is no manager on sight and they don’t answer their phone Do not stay here!!!

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. Their website clearly mentions that the rooms have air conditioning, but when I arrived, there was none. I called the main office to ask about it, and they told me the hotel does not have AC, even though it was 80 degrees outside. I was left miserably hot and uncomfortable the entire time. On top of that, the room had no fridge, so I could not keep any drinks or food cold. The room itself was small, old, and worn down. It did not match what was advertised online, and I would not stay here again.

Working to obtain a refund. Our room felt wet and was attached to an outdoor space that was not usable as it was wet and the furniture was not clean. It was so humid we were concerned about mold. The room had wallpaper falling down. The heater was broken, there was barely any light and there was only one power receptacle within the room. The room pics didn’t match the booking and the Receptionist stated that was Hotels.com issue. Felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Opted to go to another hotel. Still trying to get a refund for the room booking and the city tax they collected at check in weeks later.

Disgusting Hotel! At this property, we were given a room WITHOUT windows! (Misleading advertising). The toilet was inside the shower. Please read that again, the toilet was inside the shower!!! The room didn't have air conditioning, only heater. The wallpaper was coming off and it had yellow stains. The buttons of the elevator didn't work. So, good luck trying to get in the elevator. The entrance doors from the hotel, had a sign in Italian that read: "Authentic doors don't work, open with your hands." Just pathetic! It's illegal to rent a room without windows; so, I don't understand why this hotel it's here on Expedia. We refuse to spend any time in the room that they gave us. So, we spent about an hour searching for another accomodation in Florence in such a short notice. Hotel Panama refused to refund our money. So, we're now still fighting for it with our credit card company. Don't book in this hotel. It's dilapidated! Shame on Expedia for suggesting this hotel.

They canceled my hotel reservation when I was on a flight from America. They called me but did not leave a voice message after being awake 40 hours they did not even help me find another hotel. Staff was very rude and apologized, but gave me no reason for canceling my reservation after I booked a month ahead of time. I do not recommend this place for anybody they are not reliable avoid at all cost.

This hotel is situated walking distance to some of the best spots Florence has to offer. Restaurants are nearby so you don’t have to rely on transportation. The only complaint that I have is that the wi-fi did not work on the upper level. I spoke with front desk and the manager about it and nothing was done about it. I thought a complimentary breakfast would have sufficed to compensate for the inconvenience but there was no remedy or offer to help mediate the issue. Overall, it’s a beautiful room that’s equipped with a bathtub and patio to smoke or catch a tan. Hopefully the wi-fi is better in the coming weeks

The room only had one window on the ceiling and it was super small, no lighting and felt suffocating. The shower and the toilet occupied the same space. So water just fell everywhere. Not really close to any tourist spots. The room was clean enough and the staff was nice but overall not worth it for the price.
