This wasn’t our first stay at Tokyu Ginza. The location is great, within walking distance to the city’s commercial highlights, subway station access, and convenience stores. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.
Located at premium area, over all are very nice hotel, nice view from room hotel, very affordable and best choice for shopper.
Best location, three blocks to the fish market, easy access to the train station, best shopping area Ginza, washer and dryer in the room. Overall excellent experience
We stayed at Tokyu Stay Ginza for about ten days in April 2026.
Positives: The washer/dryer combo is super convenient, and laundry soap is provided. A sufficient number of electrical sockets were available, two on one side of the bed, one on the other, plus a couple hidden under the head end of the bed from various extension cords. We had enough for CPAP devices and typical charging needs. There are two sockets at the table, two open sockets by the washer dryer, and one socket in the bathroom, all two-prong, for common three-prong US plugs; you will need an adapter. There is a (very) small fridge, a trouser press, an air purifier, an electric kettle, and a Nespresso machine. A variety of teabags are available in the lobby, but no coffee pods. There is shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the tub/shower that were of decent quality. Body and hand towels are provided, but no washcloths for some reason. Disposable ones eventually showed up in the lobby, along with disposable q-tips, toothbrushes, tiny toothpastes, hair ties, hair brushes etc.
Negatives: The controls on the microwave were unintelligible to someone used to US devices. The washer/dryer was confusing to use at first. All the controls are in Japanese, but they provide a set of written instructions in different languages that were still a bit confusing at first.
Laundry: I leave this seperate as it was one of the primary selling point for choosing this property. The laudry in room is quite convienen
